The Jackass coalition will also break up. After the evil GOP is history, the Rats will have no opposition to blame and demonize. Therefore, no reasons to stay united.

...when each of us insists on the Highest Standards of Purity in our chosen political party ...."United We Fall, Divided We Stand."

If you are willing to surrender your core principles for political expedience, and then suggest those who refuse to capitulate theirs are a worse evil than those in whom we are opposed, then your party and the nation are no longer worth saving or exerting any effort for us to save because you are compatriots with tyrants.

Blackburn looked so strong the other day when a reporter was asking her questions as she was walking along.

She was asked about supporting Obama’s agenda/bills and she said *we sent two bills to the senate, they need to vote on them* (paraphrased)

Our political system is such a sham, anything Reid doesn’t like he won’s allow a vote on.

They would look bad when a good bill is defeated.

So the republicans cave to Reid, the senate, and Obama.

And the other in that foursome, Boehner.

The republicans should have said that they won’t act on any bill messed over by Obama and Reid until the ones they sent to the senate are voted on.

You’re right. Bachmann may have been blackmailed, threatened with smear if that didn’t work, and, if she still resisted, her family may have been threatened with blackmail or violence. Where would she go?—Obama’s FBI? Let’s get real: the world’s smartest and most ruthless thieves cannot resist a trillion dollars, and there is no independent (Hoover) FBI to do anything about it. It is an ego trip to think you’re smarter than the most powerful people on earth. They are not boneheads or bungling, fumbling fools who just need your insight. They have not failed to notice something you noticed—they are aware of much more than you! Our brilliant logical analyses are not beyond the grasp of the world’s most powerful people and their legions of brilliant employees. The Congress is not stupid; they are either compromised or wicked. Levin-like angry advice is allowing our egos to make ostriches of us. Unspeakable amounts of money and the crime they attract is the actual problem facing us. Hope springs eternal, and I can hope and wish, too. I just want to think realistically.

That was inane.

You miss the point completely-—there is no party now where we can stand united.

The GOP was it.

emphasis on “was”.

there is no question newt has baggage.

Can you tell me the baggage that others have? When Newt is brought up, it's followed with baggage. Propaganda sure works! And the same response from some when Palin is brought up and they are too dumb to see the correlation on what they themselves are saying. It all depends how brainwashed they allowed themselves to be and those who swear it's their thought.

A known backstabber to voters/our country compared to Newt? Santorum supporters had no idea what else he was involved with - they didn't care to know. But they could give a play by play of Newt's life. It was all by design and conservatives fell for it.

How many couches did romney and santorum sit on with liberals that you NEVER saw? Who are the ones who has unfaithful to our country? And who is the one who has the Constitution runs through his veins? Amazing how reality is what the media makes it to be - and it's devoured by some.

Unless things don’t change fast an early forecast for the 2016 race is fatass RINO Christie against communist/socialist Thunder-thighs Klintoon. The lamestream media loves both of them. Not a day goes by that I don’t hear that Spankie is the most popular republican in the country and that old
Thunder-thighs has the highest favorability ratings in the history of the world. Lord, save this country from more of the crooks from Arkansas and from any liberal closet democrat like Fatty Arbuckle Jr. from New Joursey.

They should have rallied and stood behind a better person than Boener and they didn’t. They are one big club and those who want to be ‘in’ obey - they wouldn’t dare ruffle the feathers for our country. Patriotism is long gone in this country.

Rand Paul is one among the few that seem liberated from the Party mindset undermining the representation we’re owed. The others don’t have the courage likely fearing retribution if they buck the tide. Human nature.

>> Then get off your butt and form a new party

Time would be better spent motivating the district constituents to elect better reps than to ponder the fantasy of starting a new party.

Oh dang. I was hoping that you took me off your fan list....you seem to creep around finding me WAY TOO much. You are quite the stalker aren’t you? I never try and find you. Make a New Year’s resolution to leave me a lone. I know you have some weird crush on me but get over it. I am married with four kids....Enough already.

So, then maybe the damned party should stop backing the “moderate” Rinos, ya think??? As long as we get to choose between a cold douche and a turd sandwich, the Dems can keep on winning.

Just a thought....... anyone consider that no one wants the speakers job? I can’t imagine a more miserable, thankless job than Boehner’s. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t and all the while having to deal with reprobates like Obama, the MSM and the entire Democrat party.

You want a “good” speaker? Elect a good president and good senate. In this poisonous political environment, the best we can hope for is obstructionism.

I’d suggest we get busy right now working on the 2014 elections.

Swiss miss can go shove it when she was running for President DESPITE being a DUAL citizen of the US and Switzerland...

Could you have imagined the glee with the Obama people when they dropped that she in ineligible right after the GOP convention????

They would have done it too, because the complicit media would say “Obama was already vetted in 2008”

It would have been an even worse blowout than with Romney...

Sheesh - this thread is a living example of extreme Normalcy Bias gone airborne and infecting nearly everyone reading and breathing.

It’s look to your own time and prepare to defend what little liberty you got left with the means enshrined as a God-ordained Right that the MarxoFascists with help from the Judenrat GOP will abolish in the very, very near future.

We’re past the point of elections. They are theater to disguise the shell game of absolute single-party dictatorial rule we are already under.

The willful delusion here is absolutely astounding.

I now know EXACTLY how it was an entire people allowed themselves to walk into boxcars for camps and death. They REFUSED to allow their minds to grasp what time it was - EVEN when the tyrants TOLD them point-blank what they were going to do.

Same deal here.

It’s time to look to your own defense - because this nation is under enemy occupation and was overthrown in a velvet coup from within and from help of a Judenrat GOP who knows where the power is going to lie, and will do anything to share in it.

Even if it means betraying the very people and principles that allowed them to get into power to begin with.

The fact that Michelle was one of the votes absolutely breaks my heart.

Garrett is my Congressman, he is Chairman of Subcommittee on Capital Markets, he's been in office since 2003; he's more senior than Michele, in office since 2007.

Michele is REALLY an outsider; she probably needs to be a little nicer in order to not be completely out in the cold. If you remember, the RNC did not back her, basically, in her last election.

Perhaps Garrett has enough political capital to be able to make a "quiet statement" on this vote.

Bachmann was only reelected by a few thousand votes and is most likely preparing for a post Congressional beltway career. She will be a reliable junior member of Team Beltway this term. Time to write her off.
