I agree with pretty much what you say.

It’s not defeatist to recognize repeating the same losing strategy is a bad game plan.

Why would they vote to ban guns? They don’t have to fear from the voters, do they?

McCain was right. We have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency. It is a Republican congress we should fear.

The myth is that the GOP is involved in some fight-it isn't.

They got the Defense budget they wanted and raised taxes, the thing that the Democrats wanted.

Neither Party is concerned about shrinking the size of Government.

“Oh Lord. Get a grip. She is one of the best in Congress.”

Naps, what does that actually even mean?

HELP!! Can anyone answer this question....what is the link to the list of names of those politicians who did and did not vote for boehner? I see comments about Bachmann and West, and yet there is no link to this info so that we may all view it. I tried Google for such a link, and no luck.

HELP! We must contact those Conservatives who voted and find out what happened....

An attempt to continue the illusion that Bachmann is a conservative while acting like a GOP RINO.

Don't you know they are squishy on abortion?

...and the 'Republicans' aren't? No more Republicans. (spit) Two wings of the same bird of prey. Democrats = Republicans. Deal with it.

"I guess Bachmann is a RINO now.

Yes, along with everyone else that voted for Boner. I am finished the Republican Party. He is a cry baby, sorry excuse for a man, that lacks the spine to stand on conservative principles."

The only reason - and I mean ONLY reason - that Bachman voted for Boehner is that at the last moment she saw he was going to win and wanted to keep or get any committee/hold any committee positions.

In other words, by voting for Boeher, she might have felt that it would maybe make her safer from being ostracized and she thought she could do the best part of Republicans there.

I know - I'm a dreaming idiot.

I don't trust any R's now except for the ones who voted against Boehner and I'm not even sure I buy any of their reasons either.

Take it up with Eternal Vigilance. Come to think about it, he may be the only perfect person left.

"Bachmann’s always been Little Ms. Personal Ambition. She and Rove go way back."

Wonder if Mark Levin will call her on the carpet.

I’m not interested in taking up anything with anyone...you have your ‘Republican’ party. Enjoy. They won’t disappoint me again. I’m out.

I wish I could say it would probably been better to put Nazi Pelosi in charge, then the Marxist dems would own it all.

Thing is, the MSM would still tell the sheeple the GOP was running things.

Face it, short of a mass uprising, the US as we know it is dead and gone.

There no longer is any pathway to freedom, the ballot box is dead as we are, it has been compromised and nobody has the guts to stop this.

It was painful to watch... even comical at times. Reelect the weakest, lamest duck. Sheeeesh.

It may have been comical to WATCH but I find no comedy in electing a Weeper that is incapable of stopping the debt ceiling from being raised, no power to stop another CR in March, no power to stop more national debt from being racked up, no power to enforce a "REAL" reduction in Fed spending, no power to stop illegal aliens from being turned into RAT voters, no power to stop the gun grabbers, and basically no power to stand up to Zero on anything.

And to anyone who believes this Drudge headline today,
"Tells GOP he's done dealing with Obama... "
is living in a liberal fantasy-land.

AMERICA IS OVER AS I KNEW IT.

Based on his positions I would LOVE to rally behind him. Had all the ‘conservatives’ taken their heads out of the fantasy of the GOP and voted like conservatives, he, or a person like him might be in a position to help fix this mess.

But it was Romney or bust and any opposing were ‘traitors to America’. And I hope all the Romney supporters choke on the reality. Because they got exactly what they asked for. FAILURE.

"If they ever want to get any legislation they sponsor to be voted on, they needed to vote for him.

Waiting Until the Last Minute is code............

If it looked like there was going to be close to enough support to put someone else in, i.e., a last minute surprise, they held out so they could make the difference.

That's kind of what I've been thinking. IMHO, too.

What kind of legislation do you think we would have had if PELOSI or WASSERMAN-Schmuck had been Speaker??

We already have dems running the House. The key parts of the senate fiscal cliff bill were written by dems and presented to the house 3 minutes before they voted on it.

It’s over and the “conservatives” in Congress are looking out for #1. We should also.
