Shakes were spiked, cops say (parents drugged by kids)

Two Placer County teenage girls were arrested for allegedly using drugged milkshakes to knock out the parents of one of the girls so they could log on to the Internet, Rocklin police said.

Internet access at the Rocklin home was routinely shut off at 10 p.m., said Lt. Lon Milka, a department spokesman.

Milka said that on Friday evening, a 15-year-old girl – who had a 16-year-old friend from Roseville visiting – offered to pick up milkshakes from a local fast-food restaurant for her parents.

The parents drank about a quarter of the milkshakes but didn't finish them, saying they tasted funny and were grainy, Milka said.

But the shakes – loaded with prescription sleep aids allegedly provided by the friend – were effective, and the parents quickly fell asleep.

There’s a sort of sick irony to this.
I’ll explain:
Back in the 1980’s, parents became more concerned with “Me time” and leaned heavily on experimental medications to keep their children quiet and complacent.
Now it’s 2013, and these kids experimentally drug the parents to keep them quiet and complacent.

What a fine crop of sociopaths the schools and ‘modern enlightened parenting’ have turned out.

Maybe the parents are of the larger variety and couldn’t resist? I assume they went out well before 10pm anticipating that by the time they were back and the parents were knocked out it would be around 10pm and they could log on. But you never know. Such a weird story.

It could possibly have been a lethal dose in the milkshakes - any offspring of mine doing that would be disowned and gone from my home.

I guess the parents will now have to hire a taster.

Sadly, the sociopaths that the school systems and modern ‘enlightened parenting’ are churning out cannot think that far ahead and honestly do not care beyond “right now”.
They cannot comprehend consequences and results of actions, logic has no bearing on them.

Nailed it. I might add, what goes around comes around: society can't murder millions of its own unborn offspring, and not expect repercussions from survivors raised and educated by the State, and steeped in drugs and violence. Lucky for me, my family history affords me a quick death by sudden cardiac arrest. The rest of you will have these gutter whelps providing your “end of life” care.

humans are not basically good at heart, it takes work to civilize humans and the schools and media of today are doing the opposite and many parents of today don’t even know better

Which reproves and rebukes the liberal fantasy that humans are basically goodby nature.
But nobody will make the connection, society is dumbed down to the extreme these days.

The most likely sleep aid to cause headaches is (prescription) Ambien.

An overdose of Ambien can be fatal when it is taken together with other medications that can cause drowsiness. Overdose symptoms may include sleepiness, confusion, shallow breathing, feeling light-headed, fainting, or coma.

Those parents should be very glad that they didn’t wake up dead.

My niece tried an Ambien because she has sleeping problems (was not her prescription and I warned her not to) and she had all kinds of bad reactions to it. I was amazed they didn’t rush her to a hospital but they kept her awake until it wore off.

I was thinking that if it changed the taste and consistecy of the drink, they must have put in a heck of a lot!

Two of these “experimental” medications/products are available today: “Baby Hush” comes in a convenient spray can small enough to carry in your pocket or purse. One 2-second application of Baby Hush will hush baby for approximately 3 hours.

For tougher cases there is “Baby Be Still”, which comes as a single-application moist towelette. Vigorously apply to face of baby until baby ceases to struggle.

Wherever fine products are sold.

I’ll bet little princess never had a spanking growing up. My kids were/are all typical teenagers but they knew the consequences of waking the sleeping near.
