Newt has a lot to offer us in these most trying times. The lady is probably very nice, but he needs to leave her in his audience more and not push her on us. Just a shade or two too stark looking for me.

Nice us not a word usually used to describe her.

I submit that many are missing the point while arguing about rearranging the deck chairs.

The Republican party is run by an entrenched group that will protect it’s power at all costs. There will be no Speaker elected who will change anything.

The party is rotten within and is enabling decades of decline and possibly a major societal meltdown. This party hasn’t had the courage to stop the madness for many years, look at the record. We have passed the fiscal tipping point anyway.

Register independent. Your occasional primary victories in states with closed primaries aren’t helping either, don’t let those stop you.

Do this one tiny protest. You can still vote for any Republican you find worthy of your support in general elections.

The old ways are gone. You must scare the party by defecting until it changes direction.

Besides, you’ll really help screw the polling up.
