Maryland "Freak State" PING!

Michael Moore recently said that the only reason white people are buying a bunch of guns in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting is that they’re fearful. Afraid of black people specifically. He said, “Calm down, white people, and put away your guns.” So if we’re all buying guns and ammo out of fear of the black man, what emotion would cause this idiocy: a 6-year-old boy was suspended from school for making his hand in the shape of a gun and pretend shooting it, saying, “Pow,” as it was pointed at a fellow student. Were school officials actually scared that a bullet was going to come out of the child’s index finger and kill his classmate? So, it’s not fear that’s driving this; it’s pure stupidity.
Renee Garraway, the Assistant Principal in this Montgomery County, Maryland school, sent a letter home with the 6-year-old. Her letter, addressing the child’s parents, stated in part that “your son … was involved in a serious incident. [He] threatened to shoot a student. He was spoken to earlier today about a similar incident.” He threatened to shoot a student? Are they kidding? He was probably playing a version of Cops and Robbers. He’s a little boy. At one time, such behavior was considered normal for little boys. Nowadays with the abject paranoia of the left, this child’s configuring his fingers in the shape of a gun is worthy of suspension.
And because of the school’s “no tolerance” policy and ridiculous overreaction, the parents have had to retain an attorney, Robin Ficker. Ficker pointed out that “five years from now when someone at Montgomery County looks at [the child's] permanent record, they’re going to see that he threatened to shoot another student.”
This is similar to another recent incident where a 3-year-old deaf student was told he had to change his sign language name because the hand gestures for the name “Hunter” resembled guns, much like the 6-year-old’s “gun” above being used to shoot a fellow student.
Government schools are proving themselves to be dangerous, mentally, emotionally and physically. They’re also run by imbeciles who think they’re doing society a favor by removing the kids with “behavior problems” such as the child who was playing Cops and Robbers. Shutting down these government schools would do society a much greater favor.

Their permanent records must be a lot more comprehensive than mine, I got a copy of mine a few years ago and all it contained was my grades, attendance and ACT/SAT scores (And believe me I got in trouble more than a couple times...)

The parent need to sue the school system and this principal immediately for defamation of character, a violation of the child's 1st amendment rights, false accusation, and causing mental anguish. I'd open the suit at $20 million. The only way to stop these fascists is to hit them financially. They seem to be slow learners, so it will likely take quite a few such suites.

The government schools and Obamacare should be abolished. Get your kids out of government schools.
It’ll be a wonder if we have any police officers or military in 10-15 years without cops and robber games and cowboy and indian games.
Public school is child abuse.
We conservatives can have fun by dropping a box of cap guns with rolls of caps somewhere in the local elementary school playground late at night. While the entire police force is at the school the next day locking the place down because kids are playing with inanimate objects that can cause no harm to anybody, the roads will be free of cops for drag races.
Oh My God! These people are insane! When I was a child we played Army and Cowboys and Indians in school and yelled pow, bang and boom and it was considered NORMAL behavior. What are we allowing these totalitarian mush brained pseudo intellectuals to turn our children into. We need less of these progressive so called teachers interacting with our children more old fashioned play. It seems to me that we had less problems before we allowed these people to neuter our young boys.
Just because someone works at a school doesn’t mean that they are not idiots.......

Oh, they are. There are two school records, by the way. The main one and the “secret” one. Seriously. One is for the viewing if requested by parents and there is always a second one that includes lists of infractions etc... My one girlfriend requested both when her daughter got into trouble. They were ticked that she knew about the other one (she has a friend in the school system).
On another note, there is now a Montgomery County “grading system” for behaviors. When a child misbehaves, it is referred to as “Anarchy” and they are given a punishment/calmed down to level D (Demure). How would I know this? Well, lil’ Miss 6 year old got into trouble for pushing a girl when the girl called her “stupid, dumb” and refused to let her into the computer lab. The girl was not injured, didn’t fall.. the “bad” behavior = the pushing. I get a call from her teacher that said she was at the “Anarchy level” but is now “Demure”. Anarchy? I asked, “Is she throwing molotov cocktails? Is she overturning cars in the lot? Is the school currently on fire”. The teacher said, “I don’t make up the grading system... I know it is out there”. Crazy, ain’t it?!
These kids better watch out. Next thing we know, their hands will be tattooed with serial numbers. Or trigger locks will be mandatory. If muzzies run the schools, there will be confiscation.
Liberals go crazy when anyone THINKS of a gun. They don’t care about who gets killed or not. They are passionate about controlling peoples’ thoughts! Thinking about a gun is the worse evil in the world!

LOL!! She is actually a very well behaved girl and I am sorry to say we didn’t really lower the boom on this one. Not that we let our kids run wild but after the whole “anarchy” thing... I was so ticked at the stupidity of the school system that the pushing incident got only a “next time.. walk around the little brat”. (fortunately, she is the type of kid that gets upset if Mommy or Daddy is disappointed in her behavior).
I’m shocked it took this long for the ridiculous over reactions to begin.

Here in Plano TX schools there was a fight (two girls) a few days back in a school, not a really big deal actually. But the kids were handcuffed and taken off.
Yeah, the stupid meter will now peg out.
Then he'd be suspended for racism.
Teachers sure are dumb. Maybe that’s why the kids are too.
