breitbart ^ | 1/2 | O'connor

Posted on 01/02/2013 7:39:27 AM PST by RummyChick

Scarborough himself lamented the mismanagement of the Republican leaders and proclaimed himself "bitter" over the botched negotiations. Then Time magazine's Mark Halperin ripped Paul Ryan in the cruelest way possible saying he “Could be a strong candidate for president in 2016 as a Democrat.”

The GOP needs to be cleaned out from top to bottom....not a worthy one in the entire bunch.

The news media created this “fiscal cliff” bs ( scare tactics) to start a Republican stampede .and it worked.

And now the media are spiking the football, they are rubbing it in.

It looks like most of the rank and file in the House voted against this garbage, including some of the leadership. Ryan disappoints me significantly with this vote. I often give committee chairs some leeway in these votes because they serve at the pleasure of the Speaker, but even Cantor voted against this one. Ryan could have voted differently. IMO, the leadership must be purged and start over. If not, I probably will sit home in 2014, as will many of us. Even better, way may want to coordinate 3rd party support so these idiots can see the numbers. Seeing a third party get 5-10% support cannot be ignored, whereas low-turnout can be spun.

While I'm not happy with what transpired, and I'm holding out hope for a debt ceiling, Joe Scarborough is a RINO pig who spends 30 seconds criticizing Obama before he goes on a 10 minute rant about the Republicans.

After twenty years in the desert we finally get gerrymandered back into a Republican congressional district, and the doofus votes with the 'rats. (Bangs head on wall.)

I'll give 'em this -- taxes on everyone who collects a paycheck are going up, and at least Obama, Reid and the congressional Democrats can take the "credit" in 2 weeks when this is noticed. Or maybe Obama thinks that anyone who voted for him is too stupid to notice.

This was gold for the democrats. If the GOP had stood their ground on principle, the dems would crater the economy and blame republicans. If they bent over for Obama, they'd win the battle and then do to them what they did to GW Bush when he agreed to raise taxes back in the 1990s. Well they chose the "bend over" path and now here come the ads:

"First he wanted to kill your grandma by slashing medicare. Now Paul Ryan and the Republicans voted to raise your taxes when the economy was weak. You needed the money more than the government and Paul Ryan broke into your house and stole it right out of your wallet. And now he wants to use your hard earned money to support the NRA, the same organization that wants to put known terrorists in every classroom and arm them with bazookas and flame throwers. Why? That's wrong for your kids and it's wrong for Wisconsin. Call Paul Ryan and ask him why he hates your kids. This ad paid for by the some liberal group-pretending to care about low taxes".

I'm wondering how to go third party. Do we really need to come up with some name that will splinter conservatives?

Why not just call ourselves Conservative Republican party...would throw RINOs into a panic...CGOP.

Correct. Ryan voted for the Fiscal Charade. He is thoroughly establishment; he is not Tea Party.

No Way! Paul Ryan the great Conservative hope is a fraud! Why he was even picked by that righteous Conservative MRomney for VP and MRomney would never pick a non-Conservative would he?
We are actually better off w/o Romney and Ryan, these 2 would have been GWB’s 3 term!
