I thought financial bills were supposed to originate in the House. What about this Senate-passed bill is not going off the cliff anyway?

Supposedly, they took the house passed bill from August, and just amended it to suit them. You wouldn’t know that from the media, though. Then they’d have to admit that the Senate waited until the 11th hour.
