Powerful words. But, unfortunately they mean nothing to powerful people to whom we have given eminent domain over our lives.

One thing I have noticed about soldiers, police officers, and firefighters that put their lives on the line on a regular basis; they all believe in God. I think there’s good reason for this; they are both protectors and men of honor. Our current administration would do well to learn from them. God bless them all! They’re an honor to our country and we are proud of them whether they’re a cook or a navy seal or if they’ve served 1 year or 30 years

The gun grabbers never ever consider that criminals are just that, criminals. They do not obey laws.
The criminal class laughs at those who comply. They are easy pickings for the criminal.

Excellent, but instead of “Respectfully submitted” he should have closed “With all due respect”, which in this case would be none, but he’s still observed etiquette, and what he says is only insulting if she doesn’t think she has any coming, so no one can nail him for it.

Maybe he said “some woman” because she is one. Maybe he would have said “some man” if the senator was a man. Just wonderin’.

No maam Was it Sweinstein or was it Boxer who once told a General Officer to address her as "Senator" and not as "Ma'am"?

I wrote a similar letter to Feinstein when the original ‘assault weapons’ ban was being debated. It was my senator at the time. When the letter acknowledging receipt of my missive by a staffer in her office arrived with the end of the reply reading in brief “...we will have to agree to disagree.” I realized there was no use in trying to use logic to defeat dogma and a political agenda. I haven't written a politician at any level of government since and subsequently have adopted the tactic of handling the problem face-to-face with whomsoever has the gall to knock on my duty hut door. That is a tactic not a strategy; but as they say, “You don't want to be ‘that’ guy!”
Cheers!

In case anyone is curious There is some indication that a former Marine named Joshua Bolton exists, although not with the same years of service. I don't know if there is another Joshua Bolton out there:
