‘No ma’am’: Letter from U.S. Marine to Dianne Feinstein goes viral

The following letter, written by U.S. Marine Joshua Boston and headlined “No ma’am.,” was posted in the CNN iReport on Dec. 27 with the included note from the producer and photo. It has struck a nerve with many and is being circulated around social media venues like Twitter and Facebook.

Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

Respectfully Submitted,
Joshua Boston
Cpl, United States Marine Corps
2004-2012

United States Marines are not mercenaries, you pathetic piece of trash. They are some of the best we have to offer, and they willingly lay their lives on the altar of freedom. Have you ever raised your right hand and made that commitment, or do you just talk big?

Do you really think, in the recesses of your dark little brain, that the Marine who wrote this letter voted for Barack Obama? Are you that dense? Or are you even more dense than that and think a guy who is on your side politically and is willing to die to preserve the Constitution of this nation somehow deserves your derision because some batch of idiots voted Obama in?

You are correct that your rights come from God, but His name should not be on your lips while you spew such dishonorable filth.

Given what Sal has pointed out, it would be best if you withdraw a wrong characterization of the Corporal.

Thank you so much for going. I regret that you have had to suffer but I’m so, so grateful that you and so many others are willing to.

They don’t have the cajones to do anything to him. They know how many of us are siding with him.

The men of our armed forces swear allegiance to the Constitution, not any person or party.

Dishonor is for those that did not uphold their sworn oath.

To protect and defend it.....

And yet our 'finest' seem to have no problem saluting the Usurper. Way to go, trooper.

Well, when you announce in the media tomorrow that you are raising and leading a militia for the purpose of overthrowing the current federal government because the Marines are too unpatriotic to do so, that should make quite a splash in the media. I look forward to seeing it.

Because you are going to do that, right? You couldn't possibly be the sort of pathetic, cowardly, bloviating, self-righteous weasel who would lecture a wounded combat vet about duty and be unwilling to do the job yourself, right?

All that says is he is CINC. The oath of allegiance states clearly servicemen support and defend the Constitution of the US. They do not swear allegiance to a CINC, a person, but swear allegiance to an idea. . .the Constitution—hence they are not serving a person (The Messiah).

Nothing is certain in war, my FRiend. As those who fought with Washington can attest. They left their homes to fight when victory was but a dim dream. God, Guns, and Guts prevailed the day. The restoring of America will be worth it to those who survive, and those who do not will not have to live under tyranny.
I just re-read Col. Travis’s letter from the Alamo. Can we fill those fellows shoes if we have to? I tend to think we can, the fire just hasn’t been lit yet.

IMO, none of that is guaranteed. I wrestled with the fact that my father, along with his friends, fighting in WWII for what has become of our country. If we let it go now, everyone who has fought for this country from the Revolution until now has done it in vain.

It doesn’t matter if the leftists ignore this letter or others like it, the letters help win support to our side and provide courage to resisters who know millions of other Americans have their back.

Exactly. In fact, I would prefer if the other side didn't read them. They won't see it coming.
