Charlie Hebdo, the French weekly known for publishing satirical cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed and enraging much of the Muslim world, said Sunday that it plans to release a comic book biography of Islam’s founder that will be strictly educational.
The weekly often depicts Islam’s prophet using caricatures and parodies in an effort to defend free speech and defy the anger of Muslims who believe depicting Mohammed visually is sacrilegious.
The series, entitled "Muhammad's Life," will be “an Islamically authorized biography because it is being written by Muslim commentators,” said the weekly's publisher, known only as Charb.
“The only thing we are doing is transferring the text to images,” he said, adding that he doesn’t think that “higher Muslim minds could find anything inappropriate” with the content.
The biography will be published Wednesday and was put together by a Franco-Tunisian researcher known only as Zineb, Charb said, according to AFP.

That editor has courage. You will never see any such work in an American publication. However American editors “fearlessly” will rip the Pope, Catholic and Christian figures on a regular basis.
I think one was that Muslim kid holding up a sign saying that “free speech does not equal (math symbol) insulting prophet Muhammed”. Certainly makes sense, in a Rogain-starved assertion sort of way.
None are as gutsy in the ‘Home of the Brave’.
Also Jewish figures. Dunno why they don’t go after Buddhist and Hindu figures. They don’t burn things down and riot, either.
I don’t recommend experimenting with real, live Muslims until you find something that actually doesn’t enrage them. Safe to assume that any damned thing can and will enrage them, given the wrong/right circumstances.

No such thing as a ‘higher muslim mind’...they are all inbred, seventh-century barbarians adhering VERY closely to the lunatic ravings of their pedophile prophet.
My guess is that this will spawn some more violent muzzie responses...if history serves as a guide.

Well, there’s no such thing as a tolerant Muslim.
And pictures of Mohammed are absolutely forbidden. So there’s no way this can be acceptable, no matter who writes the text or what it says.

And I will toast that sentiment with a glass of red wine & a slice of summer sausage (pork, of course).
