When Maureen Dowd heard someone say “boy” and "Obama" in the same sentence she thought "racist"; Timothy Noah could not stop thinking, “He’s black!” when he looked at Obama; MSNBC people's hearing is fine-tuned to discern all the racist dog whistles; Lawrence O’Donnell hears “PGA tour” as code for “deep-rooted white insecurities about black male sexuality.......”
And who could forget the sap-happy, braindead liberal teacher who said "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" was actually hatred of immigrants (b/c latinos do not eat PBJ's).
Crazy Joe Biden told Blacks---Romney's gonna put them back in c--h--a--i--n--s....emphasizing "chains" as if it were five syllables.
If I attended a family gathering, which I haven't in many years, the mere mention of abortion w/ any kind of frivolity would have me out of there for another two or three decades.
I understand. I just hope for openings where a little light can be shed. They live in a very dreary world. Deep down, they must want to escape it.
