Soft targets in U.S. mirror South Africa

"Having grown up in South Africa in the 1970s and '80s, and serving there in the military as a riot control officer, I have seen my fair share of violence -- mostly violence through senseless acts of terrorism by the African National Congress on what are termed "soft targets" within South Africa.

Soft targets are targets that are easy to attack. Generally they were places where there would be little or no defense and where many innocent children and adults would be murdered.

Cowards go for soft targets so they can achieve their sordid goals with little or no resistance."

Conservatives do not have an irrational fear of Liberals. As we have all discovered by now virtually 100% of left leaning politicians are mentally ill or brain damaged.

Joe Biden, currently Vice President, and a man who has had brain surgery 3 times, unsuccessfully, has his name on the Bill that was submitted in the US Senate way back when to set up Gun Free School Zones, or, as they've become known, Free Fire Zone Schools.

It is an inescapable conclusion that all leftists must be removed from public office.

Interesting guy. He was one of the lucky ones to immigrate here. Somehow I doubt leftys will heed his advice despite his experience.

Given the slow ethnic cleansing by Aids-rape, torture, muder, theft, and land expropriation of White South Africans, it seems to me that American conservatives don’t have an irrational fear of liberals. We don’t fear their evil nearly enough.

I am with you-- my fear of Liberals is not irrational.

They want to take my guns.

They want to take money from hard-working Americans and give it to the slothful.

They want to kill unborn children.

They want to continue to spend trillions of dollars that we don't have.

They want to redifine millenia-old notions of marriage to accommodate their fashionable sensibilities.

Amen!

I saw this in Iraq. I was Infantry and my company team of armor/infantry seldom got messed with. They avoided us! But the supply guys, truckers, the dudes driving the mail, ambulances, food, fuel, especially the convoys for those contractors in Iraq between Kuwait and Baghdad were constant targets for the bad guys.

Bad guys that want to live or simply cause as much damage as possible until they are taken out go after the “soft targets.”

Cinimark theaters as in CO openly states no privately owned weapons are allowed. The shooter in the Oregon mall shot himself after a patron pulled a weapon on him (probably didn't want to be taken alive like Major Nidal Hassan - Ft Hood). Disarming law abiding citizens simply makes them easier pickings, it won't change the state of mind, intent, etc of the bad guy.

Look- if I was a crazy nut that wanted to cause mayhem, I would simply rent a U-Haul or Pensky truck, the biggest one I could, and then wait until some huge festival where thousands are gathered in a tight crowd and can't get out of each others way. There are a thousand ways that a mad man can cause mayhem, literally!

In China a dude used a knife to go after people: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57559179/china-school-knife-attack-leaves-23-injured/. In fact there has been a series of knife attacks there, to include schools where in one case 23 people were cut up. Are we to ban knives too? Some have tried this since that is where this slippery slope will take one.

Inanimate objects don't have feelings, values, nor do they do anything to anyone. They don't take control of one mind. We have a society that is decaying, that's the problem. But those like Feinstein that pander to the bottom feeders that are often the problem, don't want to address this. They won't talk about values, the decay of the family, insane folks that walk our streets... Hell, most of the people that have done things like Columbine even flag their intent to do so but nothing was done! look at Niddal Hassan, the guy was openly communicating his radical ideas and was being intercepted by our folks. The Army knew about it too! So, it's the gun that the problem, right?

Meanwhile, simultaneously, another useful idiot posts a thread crying crocodile tears for Communist terrorist Nelson Mandela, and responds to any sober remarks with the Communist slogans about “brutal and racist apartheid regime”, at the same time stating that if he were an Afrikaaner, he’d leave the place. (Don’t bump his thread.)

Western civilization is retreating and the useful idiots whose noble intentions led to human disasters and truly brutal regimes all across Africa since the fall of colonialism 50 some years ago pretend not to see their harvest in death and misery.
