Rasmussen ^

Posted on 12/27/2012 10:51:28 AM PST by chessplayer

Most voters still want President Obama and Congress to avoid the “fiscal cliff” of big tax hikes and automatic across-the-board spending cuts scheduled to kick in next Tuesday, but fewer than ever think a deal is likely. Voters tend to blame congressional Republicans more than the president for the impasse.

I work in a manufacturing company in TX. There are even some educated asshats with paper hanging on the wall so support the looser obumer.
No rational reason or thought. They say “I’ve always voted that way”.
You can’t fix stupid.

People will blame the GOP no matter what.

Precisely.

This poll is just Rasmussen's way of pushing a few more sheep into the Obama camp by letting them know what the popular people think.

A new Speaker can repair some of the damage next month, by proposing that all tax cuts be made retroactive.

Time to throw all of these polls in the nearest trashcan. If Repubicans are influenced by them, replace them. VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCEs, not some stupid poll.

This falls sqarely on 0bama and Reid. And whoever came upp with that stupid-a$$ supercommittee.

NO BUDGET IN 4 YEARS...Get a budget and figure out where to cut it. Until then, especailly those Republicans..quite worrying about the next 2-4 years and your own butts.Worry about ours for once.

And yes, I am perfectly willing for a 2-4 year gridlock to keep even one more piece of bad legislation away from a vote. Executive order? File a freaking impeachment paper for God’s sake. Fight!

Better than I thought. The gap may close in the coming days. I don’t see it widening as Republicans are the first to get blamed.

The republicans should go on TV, and proclaim they will support clinton era tax rates, if obama will accept clinton era spending

The media’s job is to promote communism and defeat the GOP. They serve no other purpose.

Happy New Year

“Must be the MSM.”

That is exactly what it is. Having talked to any number of people it is the constant drumbeat by the media.

So even though only 8% more low information voters blame Rs than they do Ds, Boehner is ready to fold at any time?

They will initially blame the Republicans, and ask the messiah to save them. But after a few months, when Obama is unable to save the world, his people will finally see what a worthless POS he is. They will demand the Obama save them and give them some of his stash. It will be great to watch his people turn on him.

"As time goes by more people are blaming Obama in these polls."

I keep praying the press will start to turn on him. I know, but I can dream, can't I?

I read history. A lot. One of the frustrating things about history is reading how a successful, prosperous and militarily strong nation will deliberately chose to squander every advantage they had on the road to ruin. Assyria, Rome, Byzantium, the Ottoman Empire, China, the European states in 1914, the British Empire; all of them worked hard for success only to throw it away.

What’s more frustrating than that is to watch it happening to the country you live in, knowing full well exactly what is happening, and not being able to do a damn thing to stop it. I guess that’s why the old parable of the Golden Goose is so compelling. It’s what we do.

DAMN THE POLLS, Do what is right for the USA! Pass a bill that addresses cutting spending, Tax rate reductions and throw it in the Senate’s and Obama’s lap.

Enough hand ringing already!

They cannot now produce a Budget. There is no way to figure out what they are spending on and for what reasons.
This is like 0care you have to spend it to figure out where it went and now that it’s gone it does not matter so just spend more on every and anything and find more funds.
Simple. It’s the new economics for dummies.

Why is that? Must be the MSM. How can they control 2/3 of the government but get less than half the blame?

You already answered that... the darkside owns 95% of the "media" in this country.
