Man drives car with make-shift explosives into students in northern China, injuring 13

BEIJING – A man in northern China has rammed a car loaded with a gas tank and firecrackers into a group of middle school students, injuring 13.

The official Xinhua News Agency says the man attempted to set off an explosion after running down 23 students at Fengning No. 1 Middle School in northern China's Hebei province on Monday. The man is in police custody.

Government approved locking gas caps on all vehicles and containers.

Lock can only be opened by a government certified specialist.

All locks are to be paid for by a new “lock tax” that will be applied at the time of fuel purchase.

Anyone violating the new law will be punished by imprisonment of no less than 5 years.

I got that recipe from the book 3001 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS published by A A HARDING magazine back in 1941. Now known as FUR, FISH and GAME.

Back then ( before 1941) Scientific American published a lot of recipes for home made gunpowder.
