It’s time for Catholics to stop straddling the Fence....
They lean left and then Right, back and forth....
They support Creation...then waffle that it is compatable with Science and Evolution...
They Favor sanctuary for illegals...and undermine America and property rights
Now this..Saying that gay marriage is bad while refusing to
kick out Gay fathers...and Peadophiles...
Catholics need to start reading their Bibles a little more.
The fact is that a man who has objective, persistent homosexual tendencies, or who acffirms homosexuality as his personal identity, is disqualified from ordination to the priesthood. If a candidate for ordination lies about this, it's hard to defend against; but the rules have been there for a long time.
And priests are to be suspended from their ministry upon any credible allegation of pedophilia. That's what happened in my diocese (Knoxville) just a year and a half ago: a priest was accused by a man he victimized as a child 30 years ago; he was questioned by the bishop; and he was suspended from the priesthood instantly. The Diocese coperated with criminal investigation, and he's now in jail.
That's by the book: you can hardly do better than that.
