Lt. Mike Chiapperini's wife, Kim: "All I see right now is goodness...their deaths have brought the community together...I take comfort knowing Mike died doing what he loved...My life is richer because of him...three beautiful children...I'm honored to have been his wife...I keep telling myself God needed him more than us....continue to pray for his soul and for Tomasz and for Joe and Ted...Perhaps think of Mike and Tomasz the next time you're serving others. That would touch my soul...I long for the time our souls will be together again."

We're all helping the families out. There was a firefighter's boot out today at the North Chili Food Town/IGA for donations and when I added my donation, I noticed that it was full!
