Venus, the minimalist high-tech yacht commissioned by the late Apple founder Steve Jobs, has become embroiled in a row over a disputed bill.
French designer Philippe Starck claims Mr. Jobs’ heirs still owe him €3 million of a €9 million fee for the project, according to Dutch paper Het Financieele Dagblad.
Mr. Starck called in the debt collectors and had the yacht impounded. …

That is one ugly vessel.
I saw pictures of that “Yacht” awhile back. Had to have been one of the most butt ugly things I’ve ever seen in my life. If the dispute is about the aesthetics of the craft I’d say the designer owes the Job family instead of the other way around.

Of course, glad to see he was down with the ‘Buy America’ crowd.
Probably hard to find an American architect and/or ship builder to accommodate his ‘taste’.
More than likely would have berthed it in a state with low taxes.

Steve Job’s yacht ought to be expended as a surface gunnery target. It is so UGLY.

While I am reasonable sure that the investment in the wine list aboard that boat is far more than my entire net worth, that is sill a VERY ugly boat.
Looks like a very large freezer... with windows.
