Egypt opposition accuses Islamists of fraud in referendum

Egypt’s opposition on Sunday charged that fraud was committed during a referendum on the nation’s Islamist-backed constitution, which preliminary results indicated had been approved by voters. The dispute augured more ill will and public confrontation between Muslim Brotherhood supporters and their opponents.

The constitution, which went before voters Saturday in a second and final round of balloting, was approved by 64%, according to an initial count, the state news agency reported.

Leaders from the National Salvation Front, or NSF, the coalition of leading nationalist, left-wing and moderate politicians, accused Islamists of systematic fraud and urged the government to not put the constitution into effect until an investigation could be carried out. …

NSF leaders warned that the constitution amounted to President Mohamed Morsi’s first step in a plan to build an Islamist dictatorship. “We see that our people are on the verge of a series of laws that will ravage general freedoms and will humiliate the poor in this nation,” said Hamdeen Sabahi, one of the NSF’s leaders and a former presidential candidate. …

The fundamentalist wave in North Africa has not yet crested. The fervent Islamists will ultimately gain control in Egypt, Libya and Syria. All those reasonable “moderates” that were featured daily in the Western media during the Arab Spring, will soon be residing in Berlin, Paris, Rome , London or New York or will be dead. Things will not be pretty.

It’s quite horrid that the aforementioned “moderates” are not supported by the current administration in DC, but instead the Muslim Brotherhood is. I maintain that it was and is utterly deliberate on the part of this administration, and at this point, nobody can argue that it was not.

Historians will argue about the American role in the “Arab Spring” for a long time. There is no doubt that the changes that occurred in North Africa had been fermenting for a long time. The highly repressive secular regimes of Mubarak, Assad and Qaddafi were the remnants of the severely flawed socialist, secular pan Arab movement of the 1950’s and 1960’s. These regimes, supported by the Soviet Union , were economic failures. Despite the oil wealth of Libya, the cultural and intellectual heritage of Egypt and the inherent entrepreneurship of Syria, these regimes failed to deliver prosperity or end the endemic poverty of the masses. However they were very repressive politically and the methods of repression were harsh. So when they began to collapse ( as they inevitably would), it was the Islamists who were in the vanguard and tragically for long suffering people in the best position to seize real power. They are very unlikely to be successful or bring beneficial change to their countries. The Obama administration clearly muddled through the changes and can accurately be said to have led from behind. SOS Clinton demonstrated no clear expertise or insights into the evolving changes. Aid was given to Libyan and Syrian rebels without knowing their real identity or intent. Frankly its doubtful the Obama actually wished or wanted an Islamist triumph but was unprepared and really not capable of preventing it. Obama’s legacy is that things will get worse in North Africa and war will be more likely.

Go to youtube and watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuGHKz2yRtk , “Islams 1400 years of Brutal Black Slavery”...
In that video, John Alimbillah Azumah, has his definition of Jihad’s primary objective,
“is primarily to plunder, slaughter, rape, and subjugate; and rob other human beings of their wealth, produce , freedom and dignity.”

For me?

It began before 9-11. I find it ironic that right after 9-11, America has been enslaved by a muslim in OUR White House. Ironic that the muslim marxist has stealthed the majority of useful idiots.

Don’t believe me? Watch Curtis Bowers excellent documentary, Agenda: Grinding America Down

Its out there for now for free, so tell your friends and lets get it out there!
