full title...CIA chief sends out extraordinary email to entire staff complaining about agency's portrayal in Zero Dark Thirty

'I would not normally comment on a Hollywood film, but I think it's important to put Zero Dark Thirty which deals with one of the most significant achievements in our history, into some context,' Mike Morell began in his note to his staff on Friday.

Since they participated in the coverup of flight TWA 800 (making an animation, complete with music, that showed what the eyewitnesses “actually” saw, in an attempt to discredit the witnesses), they can go screw themselves.

Ticket sales of this movie will now be going through the roof!

This is the same woman that directed/produced, ‘The Hurt Locker,’ No?

Aces.

Yes.

The production company could not have bought anything better than this. Free publicity. Going through the roof is right.

Will that reflexive screwing take place before, during or after they finish screwing the rest of us?

The involvement by the CIA in providing the exploding center tank theory was the most curious part of this investigation. Clearly something was being covered up right before our eyes.

Yup. Most lib critics hate it because of the waterboarding stuff, meaning it’s a good movie.

I'd like to see a movie about the Benghazi attack and the administration's cover-up which affected so many top officials including David Petraeus, Hillary, Susan Rice and various military brass.

9-11 did not start with 9-11; It started with TWA800:

Clinton’s re-election theme was “Peace & Prosperity”; to go traipsing after the true culprits would be costly, complicated and “give bad vibes”, which is a new type of sin, in the eyes of the Beltway set.

So the investigators were ordered to discard any evidence that ran counter to that meme. They cooked up the, “spontaneous explosion of center fuel tank”.

The US Navy faces thousands of near crashes yearly; a completely successful carrier trap is quite nearly a crash, right? What if THEIR fuel tanks started blowing up? The fear would be reasonable.

The US Navy tried thousands of times to replicate the fuel tank blow up and failed; they even dumped a whole Hibachi of charcoal briquettes glowing red into a fuel tank:

NOTHING.

I wasn’t going to see this movie because I believed that it would glorify and heroize Barack the Kenyan. A couple of weeks ago I changed my mind when I heard that Barry and Hillary hardly are mentioned in it. I’m now looking forward to seeing it.

Apolitical 'Zero Dark Thirty' a Victory for New Media
One reason "Zero Dark Thirty" is getting such attention is because it plays its subject mostly straight. No sucker punches. No political speeches shoehorned into the narrative. No overt cheerleading. It's a procedural thriller ripped from the headlines, not the op-ed pages of The New York Times.

The film certainly makes it apparent that enhanced interrogation, or what the mainstream media blithely calls "torture," helped lead the U.S. military to Osama bin Laden's hideout. It's been humorous to watch the film's creative team deny that, all the while appeasing both the liberal media and liberal Hollywood along the way.

Hey Mikey, here's a spelling test for you:

Hollywood

Dramatization

Story

Storytelling

Fiction

Non-documentary

Have Ms. Bigelow and/or her crew ever made any claims that this movie is factual? Could this film, at best, be considered a douc-drama?

A fav film of mine: Act of Valor.

Yeah, so... like it’s some sort of secret that Hollywood is out to f*ck the military and intelligence organizations of the United States?

Welcome to the club, moron - where ya been???

Jack Cashill did a very good job covering the TWA 800 deception (cashill.com). I would also say that the OKC bombing in 1995 was never adequately explained either as far as the muslim connection goes — More eye witnesses that were ignored by the federal investigators. So, chalk it up to Right Wing Haters led by Rush Limbaugh.

Exactly. The CIA wouldn’t have had any role if it were just an accident. They created a cover story to tell the investigators, and the investigators concluded, conveniently, that what the CIA told them happened, happened. It was pretty damn blatant.

In fifty years or so, we might get the files declassified and find out what really happened. I suspect our government was involved in some operation that backfired on them, for example, setting up some “terrorists” with weapons in a sting, and then losing control of them and failing to stop the attack. They dropped the ball like that with the first WTC attack too, but they couldn’t cover that up.
