Bureaucratic rivalries may have hampered Benghazi security: sources

Infighting and bureaucratic jealousies between the State Department and the Pentagon may have played a role in lax security arrangements prior to the deadly attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, congressional sources said.

Evidence of the bureaucratic rivalries, not previously reported, is contained in unpublished documents being studied by congressional investigators and is referred to in a classified version of a report on the attacks in Libya, which was turned over to Congress earlier this week, the sources said.

Two sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters the friction between the Defense and State departments included, but was not limited to, the State Department’s unease over its reliance on a 16-person Pentagon security unit, known as a Site Security Team (SST).

The team’s mission was allowed to expire in August, and there are disputed accounts over whether it could have done a better job of protecting U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans who died in the September 11 Benghazi attacks. …

And none of these investigations even make a gesture at looking at Hillary or The Won.

Before this is all over, the blame will be laid entirely on Ambassador Stevens for wearing too short a skirt.

In search of The Patsy, eh.

Exactly. TREASON...in real-time, pre-meditated, continuous, ongoing...

R.I.P. Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, Chris Stevens, Ty Woods

(Was it the fault of the movie or the guns? If we ban movies and guns none of this would've happened...(ongoing...TREASON))

I've never seen anything like this: we have all the evidence in the world of incompetence and massive corruption which got good Americans killed and the islamic enemies encouraged and we can't get a flicker from the "news" agencies.

This is, without doubt the most biased press since Pravda and Izestia. They won't be happy until this country is ruled by Ms Pantsuit and our national defense is in the toilet

(ongoing...TREASON)

Ongoing Treason Indeed! The bloody fingerprints of the Quisling POS who sleeps at 1600 Penn. Ave. are all over the tombstones of Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, Chris Stevens and Ty Woods. This is not about miss-communication between bureaucraps. It was/is directed from the top. The "Won" owns this.

It is forbidden to bring an actual charge of malfeasance of office against the Anointed Elite. For them, treason is just something of which they could not be capable, as the definition of “the good of the State” is coterminous with their own personal well-being.

Lord help us of one of them should happen to fall down and get a concussion, we shall all suffer greatly.

But will they be happy when they find themselves at the point of guns wielded by our enemies?

I can’t imagine right now being on foreign soil and expecting Administration support and protection. I have no doubt those in the Admin tell our enemies exactly who is where doing what.

That’s what happens when a dumbed-down and amoral society elects a sweet-talking Communist traitor mole to be the C-in-C.

Patsy? No.

The article depicts the battle between misguided ideaology and sane reality.

The pacifists actually believe that the key to peace is maintaining peaceful actions and outlook. They got 4 good guys killed for such insanity.

The deaths occurred in Benghazi and should have been at the Ivory Tower in Foggy Bottom

State Department is highly female oriented, gay oriented and liberal oriented. You tell this from their top people and their spokesmen and spokeswomen such as Victoria Nuland. They have LBGT celebration days in DC and other time wasting nonsense.

All the above are in la-la land where they never want to offend their Mooslim hosts by having a large security contingent. Most Muslim nations ate offended by lots of armed Marines etc. This is a large reason why our Ambassadorial security was so thin in Libya. State Department was engaged in their usual fantasy games that Libya was orderly, safe enough to not need more security. Plus I’ll bet State is mostly responsible for no rescue attempt at Bengahzi. Them and Obama’s re-election commitee
