I'm not sure that Ryan would be that great of an improvement over Boehner/Boner. That being said, I also am not so sure of his ability to go toe-to-toe against the rabid demoRATs. In the VP debate, Biden & what's-her-face the moderator, steamrolled over Ryan and he looked scared & unsure against the dumbest demoRAT in Washington DC. Biden steamrolled him continuously and the most that Ryan could muster was a sick look on his face.
Ryan won that debate. The tactic Ryan took was the right tactic, because even the most liberal journalists were calling out Biden for coming across as a jackass for laughing at the most inappropriate times, like the fact that Iran has nukes, (heeheehahahahohoho). If Ryan, or anybody, had gotten all-powerful and told Biden to shut his pie hole, if he had nothing to say, the media would have played if as though Ryan was too temperamental and reactive to be a sober choice for VP.
Ryan did good. Many of the other factors were simply stacked against them this election season. You can have the perfect candidate, and still lose.
That’s simply not true. Ryan outpolled Biden everywhere in that debate. Part of that was bidens bizarre behavior, but Ryan had many great answers. He was the adult in the room. There were opportunities missed but that always the case. It was his first debate in a national election.
I suggest you and other critics pull up video of te health care summit in 2010 and watch Ryan obliterate Obama to his face. He has great communication skills and can make the arguments.
