Actually, i want the government to get into the business of making sure people have the latest, greatest and best firearms they can get ~ no sense letting all that expertise at ATF go to waste.

People should be able to do a quick turnaround on old firearms ~ bring it in and get a new one that's better in every way.

BTW, the order has only to do with subsequent categorization by political interest. I don't have time to look up all the latest numbers, but i have donethat in the past. Broken and worn firearms are most commonly owned by black people ~ and they do suffer accidents on that account. The young criminal class have the good stuff. The older folks who are being preyed upon have the broken guns.

They should be assisted in defending themselves, and a good new firearm can do that job.
