Levin is a purist who thinks the GOP should be 100% of what they want even though we don't have either the Senate or WH.

This bill would have protected middle class small business...restaurant franchise owners and the like. Now these businesses will have to fire employees.

why would the dems have accepted it even if it passed the House. Reid would just have let it die in the Senate like all the other House GOP bills. I don’t really see the big deal here. what really changed with this going down?

I guess if you believe in the Constitution, unalienable rights and not killing the economy by bargaining with a dictator you’re a purist. Who knew?

What about the Restaurants and small businesses who make over $1 million a year? Plan B would have raised their taxes and they have a lot more people to fire. Don’t worry, Obama will cut your taxes for you.

You don’t think taxes were going up for everyone anyway? Wake up! There’s a reason it’s not called the monetary cliff. They control the money supply and will continue on as they have been. Whether or not we extend the 2001 rates is tiddlywinks.
