Dems want tax increases for EVERYONE..even that Commie schmuck said so..so now they will get what they want, tax increases for everyone, and they will get to blame Republicans for it..so they get the best of both worlds

Levin is a purist who thinks the GOP should be 100% of what they want even though we don't have either the Senate or WH.

This bill would have protected middle class small business...restaurant franchise owners and the like. Now these businesses will have to fire employees.

Your premise is inaccurate. It wasn't a tax cut bill, it was a bill to keep taxes where they are no”

At least you are not claiming that this was a tax increase bill.
That was the lie that killed the bill.

Now our taxes go up. On the Marxist channel Ed Schultz and CO are cheering this defeat right now, their work done on the GOP inside

Maybe the Mayans were on to something.

Agree on the sequestration and the supercommittee.

Gingrich called them on it immediately..so did Cain.

Right ... who has the backbone to rally the troops?

Dems are dancing in the aisles not that their Dem-lite surrogate has handed them what they want.

Beohner has been unimpressive from the start.

No matter what Boehner and the Republicans do, they will get all the blame for the damage to this economy and the markets from going off the cliff.

Yep they will get the blame from low-information voters and the press. But I am tired of politicians who know better being so scared of stupid people and corrupt people. Instead they need to speak the truth of the matter to these people in the same way that Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin and Thomas Sowell explain these issues, and let the chips fall where they may.

S&P’s have fallen out of bed. I guess jerking all those junior Tea Partiers out of committee roles wasn’t such a good idea, eh, Boehner...

That’s what they didn’t vote on tonight because Boehner didn’t have enough GOP votes

why would the dems have accepted it even if it passed the House. Reid would just have let it die in the Senate like all the other House GOP bills. I don’t really see the big deal here. what really changed with this going down?

The Dems would have blocked the bill in the Senate anyway..this bill was garbage anyway..taxing ANYONE during a recession is a horrible horrible idea..at least some in the GOP have a spine to say no to this nonsense but the media will do what it always does, blame the Republicans when taxes go up(But fail to mention how the Dems want the taxes to go up on EVERYONE)..its a lose lose situation..when you have a moron watching this on TV who voted for Obama for the freebies it wont matter to them anyway

Once again the Demonicrats have manuvered the Repellicans into yet another corner where they're "damned if they do and damned if they don't!"

Dammit!!!

The smartest thing the Repellican Party could do is adopt the Tea Party completely and help the Tea Party to refine and polish it's candidates into principled winners without the expensive consultant/lobbyist industry types. Candidates with focus, sincerity and disgression coupled with able expression will go far to restore the republic's respectability!!!

Put the "professional" Repellican to work raising money for a respectable, worthwhile series of winning campaigns that we conservatives don't turn on (against) at the drop of a hat!!!

Instead of constant bichin an gripin all the time, let's put together a series of bigger and bigger wins till our movement wins it all, once again!!!

We've got to wipe out these "Oh (BLEEP!) moments," once and for all time!!!

surprised when our taxes go up as a result of its defeat? Any of them?

You make enough to pay taxes on? Be thankful.

I haven't seen positive income in 3 years.

Since Romney was nominated, I knew that whichever way it went, my customers were going to get creamed, and me with them.
