Why don't threats against Israel dismay the EU?

More than 40,000 people have been slaughtered in Syria and the death toll rises daily. The European Union does not appear to be particularly concerned.

North Korea's rulers have launched a three-stage rocket, moving closer to their goal of developing a nuclear-tipped ICBM, and they're sharing nuclear weapons technology with the world's leading sponsors of terrorism in Iran. The EU does not seem to be worrying about that, either.

Israel is considering building homes on barren hills adjacent to Jerusalem. The EU's 27 foreign ministers said they were "deeply dismayed," and warned Israel of unspecified consequences if the plan is carried out.

Very simple. The Israelis will listen to the EU respectfully and respond to their concerns seriously. Everyone else will tell the EU to bugger off — and then they’ll look like the pompous, impotent dipsticks they really are.

The EU is deeply fascist and needs to be largely wiped out.

The job wasn’t done properly in 1945.

Their stances are so grossly inconsistent that they must be at least aware of it. And it’s not possible to rationalize it.

Normally, such an absurdity would embarrass an institution or body. But I suspect what underlies it is a visceral hatred for the Jews, and this hatred overwhelms any shame.

It is long standing European anti-Semitism and nothing more.
the exception today would be Germany and for obvious historical reasons.
