Speaker Boehner: "Mr. President, It's Plan B or Be Responsible For the Largest Tax Hike In History"
Ace of Spades ^

Posted on 12/19/2012 12:08:21 PM PST by Perdogg

A very strong statement from Speaker Boehner:

"Tomorrow the House will pass legislation to make permanent tax relief for nearly every American -- 99.81% of the American people. Then the President will have a decision to make. He can call on the Senate Democrats to pass that bill or he can be responsible for the largest tax increase in American history."

I have been trying to explain this to some, but people seem to have missed this.

Obama will be proud to pass the largest tax hike in history. And he’ll keep on spending and hiking until the US is kaput.

not only that, but the people that got tax refunds that did not pay any tax at all, will not only not get that, but will end up paying instead...

most affected will be younger people ( who mostly voted for fubo ) single mothers ( who mostly voted for fubo ) and lower wage earners ( who mostly voted for fubo )...

I cannot wait to hear them scream... then when they say it is not fair, i will tell them that instead of 47% not paying taxes, it is now only about 18%..

everyone will be getting hit, how much more fair can it get?

hell, most of these people were not even out of junior high school during the clintoon years..

all I will have to say to them is, “Welcome to my world, pal”...

Plan B has no chance. It will also not change the poll numbers for responsibility. This is actually funny though and I am not sure it could ever happen. This is the one time where Free Republic and the far left agree. Go ahead and go off the cliff. The left thinks Obama has gone to far already. So I guess the question is, do the deal or jump? I think jumping would hurt the republicans more. Passing plan b is kabuki and everyone knows it.

I’ll bet, including me, many wish last years deal or grand bargain would have gone through. Instead we let the perfect be the enemy of the good and gambled on the election. Now any deal done will be far left of that.

We gambled on Mitt Romney. Just let that sink in for a while.

Republican Mantra needs to be “IT’S THE SPENDING, STUPID”

The GOP should leave town and make Obama own it one way or the other.

House Repubs all falling down, and getting concussions, taking time off might work better.

We can’t make him own the economy that he caused for the last 4 years, how are we going to make him own some intangible future event?

If you don’t pay taxes, why care if the rate goes to 100%. No skin off your freeloading nose.

Now this is how it's done finally. I posted a vanity here recommending this weeks ago

Instead of demanding that the R party be the ones to raise taxes on that 99.8 % of voters, ALL Republicans NOW need to call out O for ‘playing politics with middle class taxes’ by rejecting this extension

Now Republicans need to stop whining about the 0.2% who will see the automatic tax increases, and stop joining Pelosi Dems who will vote against this extension, and instead get on to calling O out for fighting to raise ALL OF OUR taxes by opposing this 'B' bill.

I am really convinced that many just love seeing O win these, but I am LONG tired of it.

You’re right it doesn’t matter what Boehner says, Republicans will be painted as the party that raised taxes.

The House Republicans should pass a bill That would re-instate the Bush tax cuts, then pass abill de-funding obama care, then passa bill defunding the czars and all cost of these positions, Then foreign aid to Iran, Egypt, etc. These are but a few there should be more with spefic spending cuts and cut all US funding to the UN. Pass these on and let the democrats do as they will. Republicans need to do what’s right and forget about trying to negotiate with the democrats.

Then what is the solution? The only solution is a bad deal over a rotten deal or do nothing.

Well, spoken. And remember, all of the "Principled Conservatives" who didn't vote in November to "Send a Strong Message to the GOP!" and handed the Senate and White Hut to Obama and his Pet RATS.

Now, they are lined up to bitchslap the Pubbies in the House.

Typical!

The Republicans should take a page out of the Democrat playbook and scream this over and over, “President Obama and the senate Democrats are WAGING A WAR ON CHILDREN by putting all of this debt on our children’s credit cards”.

Not to mention:
1) They refuse to allow school vouchers thereby imprisoning poor kids in lousy schools dooming families for generations
2)What the Democrats ultimately REALLY want is federally funded partial birth abortion.

IT’S A WAR ON OUR CHILDREN!

Don’t just say it once, John. Repeat it repeatedly.

The communist from Kenya has a big pulpit. Make every statement about Obama raising taxes...AND HAVE EVERY Republican repeat that in every press event.
