Republicans need to "have a discussion on guns" in the wake of last week's grade-school massacre in Newtown, Conn., Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) told his conference Tuesday.
Speaking to his troops at a closed-door meeting in the Capitol, Boehner was mindful of conservatives' traditional opposition to new gun restrictions, emphasizing that Republicans wouldn't do "anything knee-jerk," according to a lawmaker in the room.
But the Speaker also said he wants to "de-politicize" the issue of gun violence, which has been thrust dreadfully into the national spotlight following the murder of 26 people — 20 of them young school children — at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday.

Had this discussion again today. Said it was time to drop out of the Republican Exectutive Committee. I am done. Will be determining if I am an Indy or a NA. Let them work for my vote and I will keep my cash(whatever is left that is) in my household. Screw the Repubs as they had my undivided attention for many years. Now, not so much...

That sonofabitch has personal body guards and yet wants to deny us our 2nd amendment right to bear arms and defend ourselves. As Suzanna Hupp so aptly put it, we need our weapons & semi-auto load guns to protect ourselves from the fascist-socialist bastards in our federal, state & local governments (all the demoRATs and a good portion of Rinos & repukes like Boehner) who want to tyrannize us and bring totalitarian rule to Amerika!

The voters of his district need to have a coversation about Boehner (or is that boner?).

That’s a very good question. I would love to see a man or woman from the TEA Party caucus get the nod.
We’ll have to see how it plays out. Boehner needs to be the ex-speaker as soon as possible. He’s awful.
I think Beohner is a deep dem plant and has been one all along. He puts on a great show until it’s time to call the hand and then goes against everything conservative, and just gives the dems what they want. He does it every time. When has he ever stood firm on conservative ground and not caved? He’s working for the left and the country club elites, not “We The People”.

The time for talking and discussion is over.
We’re arrived at the time when the intended purpose of the 2nd Amendment is the only option left to preserve liberty.
The longer it takes for enough Americans to realize that fact, the more impossible it will become to save life and liberty from the tyranny about to engulf us all.
