I’ll repeat again Don Imus’ remark after Joe and Mika were fired from WABC Radio. Imus said that Human Resources had been loaded with complaints about Joe since he had come to work there. He did not explain and he never said it again but I’ve never forgotten it.
I am truly amazed at how many people are chasing the red herring of gun control when the real elephant in the room is mental health treatment.
It’s his MSNBC and the rest of the media that causes these mass shootings.
The media know they are egging on the next star,promising them fame and immortality if they will just try to top or match the current mass shooter.

Joe, we were all shaken and wrenched by the unspeakable murder of innocents. But, Joe, your reaction is shallow and base. If there were no guns in the world that may not have happened. But, Joe, guns have been in the world for hundreds of years. Crime is lower when the law abiding citizenry are allowed and encouraged to carry guns. Where is your common sense?
What about concerns about severe acts of violence as side effects of mind altering pharmaceutical drugs, anti-psychotic and antidepressant drugs?
What about the permanent and negative neurological changes to the brain of young people as related to violent movies and violent video games? Is neuroscience too much for you to understand?
What about the loss of God in schools? Exactly what is wrong with posting the Ten Commandments in schools, so children can see every day the Commandment "Thou shalt not murder?"
It is too easy to blame guns and avoid the real causes of violence in this country, ehh? Are you an intellectual, or just another follower of the popular culture, especially the mindless, hysterical anti-gun group? Your words say it all.
