Clinton gets accountability report on Benghazi attacks

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday received an official review of the September attack on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, setting the stage for testimony on an incident that prompted a political furor and sharp questions about security at U.S. diplomatic facilities overseas.

The committee has been meeting in private and State Department officials have declined to discuss almost all specifics of the Benghazi attack pending its reports.
The findings are expected to cover questions on whether enough attention was given to potential threats and how Washington responded to security requests from U.S. diplomats in Libya.

Imagine a universe if you will, where the main stream media would have spent 1/100th the time on Benghazi as they have on the recent tragic domestic incident. Should we not be demanding that government also give the Benghazi incident significant attention ? In both cases American Citizens died.
Be careful! Don’t get any of that whitewash in your eyes.

I was thinking the same thing. Except for FX, there was a strange silence on Benghazi, while on this horrible school tragedy, the media covers every tiny bit and repeats, repeats, repeats same trivial info.

The single question that will derail any intentions she has of pursuing future political office is why she failed to provide resources to rescue the foreign service personnel being assaulted.
Better yet, my wife made the observation that since hillary bonked her head and can’t testify she must not be fit to run for president either.....
