State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

I remember once at work during lunch someone was talking bad about guns.. I said “We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for guns”, thinking I made a pro-American ‘feel good’ statement.. Well, I guess the 4 or 5 Mexican-Americans nearby felt a bit differently about my comment. LOL
Just an FYI - The quote for this Picture is INACCURATE. The man, according to the article is Christopher Geissler, NOT Hochsprung. For some reason, this quote mis-attributed.
This isn't a gun problem. This is a cultural problem - the breakdown of a sane and moral society.
NBC-CT reports that 3 injuried were taken to Danville(?) Hospital. Hospital will have a presser within an hour.

I remember a Vestry meeting shortly after the concealed carry laws were changed here adding churches to permissible places to carry. Well, the Pastor decided to bring up the subject because the Parish itself can still prohibit. One of the senior members just looked at the Pastor and said “You don’t want to go there.” When she asked why he just said, Trust me, you don’t need to know. Subject has never come up again.

Shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School today in Newtown, CT
School is in lockdown, it has been confirmed that "the shooter" is dead - that person is an adult, 2 weapons found.
Possible target: the school principal Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung (that's not confirmed yet).
One teacher was shot in the foot. No report of other injuries nor fatalities yet.
Newtown is about 12 miles east of Danbury, CT. Also, Newtown is about 78 miles NE of New York City.

Yes we are, FRiend. But of course all we're going to hear about - especially here in The People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut - is how "all guns have to be taken off the streets".
