Embattled U.N. envoy Susan Rice is dropping out of the running to be the next secretary of state after months of criticism over her Benghazi comments, she told NBC News on Thursday.

In a way, it’s unfortunate. Now the questions about Benghazi will continue to be controlled by this administration and the MSM. With Rice being questioned by Senate, more people would find out the truth about the lies and deception.

Saddened, perhaps, but not enough to admit her complicity in the Benghazi cover-up.
Susan Rice KNEW, long before she ran to the networks to spread the phony story about the raid on Benghazi was a reaction to some video that nobody had ever seen, that the allegation was false.
Like Susan MacDougal, the Clintonista of Whitewater fame, she will fall on the sword, before she would ever admit to her part in a cover-up that should have never succeeded.
I doubt you’ll be saying that when McCain rubber-stamps John Kerry.
To Democrats, "partisan politics" means holding them accountable to prove the veracity of their words.
Democrats want to be able to say and do anything that is expedient for them at the moment, and not be held tomorrow to their words spoken today.
To call them on their lies is to be "partisan." That's whay Harry Belafonte wants Republicans jailed for challenging Democrats.

They probably wouldn’t find out much more from Rice, but it’s true that Obama is dumping or silencing anybody who was involved with Benghazi in any way. Rice appears not to have known anything about it when it happened, but by the time she lied (repeatedly) for Obama, she must have been informed at least to some extent.
However, this woman has such a lousy track record that even a lot of the Dems couldn’t defend her. She was responsible not only for the shoddy management that let the bombings in Kenya happen, but for messing up a number of African countries in her passage through the other position from which she “failed upstairs.”
In any sane non-Democrat world, she would have been out of a job decades ago.
I suppose dropping out and acting all hurt is easier than explaining why you were so dead wrong, and why you were the one sent out on the talk show circuit in the first place?

IMO Rice was always intended as a loss leader, to support who they wanted in the first place, another anti-American, John Kerry.
If they’re gonna go this route, why not nominate Jane Fonda for the Joint Chiefs of Staff?
