U.N. Conference Slyly Introduces Resolution to Gain Control of Internet—in Middle of Night

In the middle of the night at a U.N. conference in Dubai, the presiding chairman of the International Telecommunication Union conference surveyed the assembled countries to see whether there was interest in having greater involvement in the U.N. governing the Internet. A majority of countries gave their approval.

With a sufficient majority supporting the U.N. becoming more active in controlling the Internet, the chairman put forth a resolution. The chairman, though, insisted the survey "was not a vote."

The resolution was supported by Cuba, Algeria, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia; the United States opposed it.

The proposed resolution resolves that the secretary general of the U.N. "continue to take the necessary steps for ITU to play an active and constructive role in the multi-stakeholder model of the Internet," according to a draft of the text.

"While it is our understanding that the resolutions made at the WCIT are non-binding, the Secretary-General might treat them as binding, which effectively creates a dangerous mandate for the ITU to continue to hold discussions about internet policy into the future," accessnow.org writes, responding to this proposed text.

The US supports the UN financially so that it can screw the US, just as the taxpayers support the US government just so that it can turn around and screw the taxpayers...

Why doesn’t the UN just vote to take over AT&T? Or how about taking over Microsoft? Standard Oil?

Just why would the den of criminals (the un) be allowed to “take over” anything? Most there are useless representatives of tyrannies. Also, for example, didn’t albania do a lot to develop and nurture the internet? They deserve a voice in running it. Not likely.

Please...don’t give them any ideas!

I suspect they will try at some point in the future.

Our would-be global masters are practitioners of what the late George Putnam referred to as “Fabian Socialism”.

Ha!

Maybe that’s what it would take for these fat, lazy Americans to finally see what kind of a jackpot they put themselves in!!

You KNOW how attached they are to their social media!! Never mind their sovereignty, autonomy and security...’but hands off the net!!’

Can’t you just see all these brain-dead kids and kumbaya hippies screaming themselves red in the face at the thought of losing their face book !! :)

The big mainstream media is hiding this UN takeover of the Internet. No one knows it is happening.

So the UN trying to control the Internet isn't news to the media but a single psycho shooting a couple of people in a mall is national news. Clearly the media (democrat party) supports the UN takeover of the Internet . If they didn't then they would report it to the American people . NO they want to keep the American people unaware of what the UN is trying to do takeover the Internet.

If the media didn't report it then it's not happening. The media creates the false reality we live in.

Only a few readers of conservative sites or a few readers of the Internet know about this, less than .000001% of people have heard it.

They need to rename the UN the Bilderberger Society and get it over with. Or at least rename it “The New World Government that supercedes all other governments”.
