The state of New York ... more telling is that taxpayers are leaving.
Tom Golisano (PayChex) built a house in a Rochester suburb and local Pols assessed it at $5 million. (Hey, he's a 1 percenter - he has to pay his FAIR share, right?)
He refused to pay, went to arbitration and they found it was worth $3 million.
In the meantime - Golisano moved to Florida saving himself $13,000 a day in state income taxes.

If he was smart he’d move his entire company to Florida.
It is extremely difficult to recruit people to come to Rochester due to a combination of rough winters and high taxes.
