If we can't tax the 47% takers monetarily, we need to figure a way to make them spend 1000hr/yr working for the government like the rest of us.

Don’t get too excited about it. The same people will tell polsters they are against any cuts to Social Security, Medicare, etc.

How about cutting the deadwood in federal agencies ?
How about doing away with Education, Energy & Commerce ?
They produce nothing. Get rid of them.

Obama only got 51% of the vote four weeks ago, and raising taxes on the rich was the centerpiece of his domestic platform.
