Let’s see. Assad is somewhat tolerant of Christians and the oppsition isn’t. Let Assad do what ever he wants to stay in power. The fact that Obama is Assad’s and my common enemy is just icing on the cake.

Getting rid of Assad would be like getting rid of Hussein (the guy in Iraq, not the one in the WH).

Is Iraq better of today? Are Iraqi Christians better of today than they were under Saddam?

Deposing Assad would only mean the installation of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria — certainly not much of an improvement over what they have now.

The “freedom wanting” opposition will end up being worse than Assad. Thats how it always works in that part of the world. We help the opposition and they will turn and spit in our faces.
