The Republican Party doesn’t have a leader who is looked upon favorably by a majority of Americans, according to a Politico/George Washington University poll.

Defeated presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, each garnered only 47 percent approval, according to the poll. …

Republicans not only lack popular leader, they have no leader whatsoever.

Conservatives have leaders.
The Tea Party has leaders.

The Republican party has eunuchs.

Limp-wristed, RINO class, dork eunochs.

I am reminded of the movie, 300, and the comic ripoff of it and whatshisnames “Awesomest”. Xerxes looking suspiciously like the media’s updated wet-dream Camelot vision of Obama, and the small numbered joke-like Spartans (Republicans)....

The country’s leeches revel in the fact Obama is ‘takin it to the Conservatives’ kicking ass everywhich way but loose. Just like many of them whooped and hollered when OJ was acquitted of murder in California.

We won’t get back what we lost until we put together 300 representatives/senators that behave like the original 300 Spartans of yore.

Could it be that GOP-E’s like Romney were politically assassinating conservatives over the last year? Newt was critical of the GOP winning in 2016 on the Sunday talk shows. He knows from recent experience how opponents to the GOP-E candidate will be treated. The GOP-E would rather have democrats in power than conservatives.

Your leader. Not mine. I gave up on the Republican Party some time ago.

Democrats lack a popular national leader too. All they have is BO, whose approval is under 50 percent.

This is why I believe that one of the most self-destructive things the Republicans did over the last decade was failing to provide backup to Sarah Palin. Before she hit that national scene, she was incredibly popular in Alaska, and she has the natural charisma that would’ve made her similarly popular (putting aside the screeching abortionists and other assorted leftist maniacs) nationwide. Instead they threw her to the wolves during the campaign, and afterward, let her get hounded out of office.

Sure, it cleared the way for Romney, but now they gots nothing.

If we never again see a Republican president it won’t surprise me. The knife is in deep and the next 4 years is about twisting it.

Now that's a load of crap.Popular to who?All of the excellent Republican’s have been kicked aside by the GOP-E.

I'll bet that if Sarah Palin Ran for President she would have won, even after the liberal media attacks on her and the family.

Of course the liberals don't like our candidates but who gives a damn?

The Leftist-Media complex now has an Immune Response.
Whenever some Republican appears on the surface who seems to show signs of becoming such a leader, he or she is mercilessly pummeled with charges and imagery that they are some random combination of Ebenezer Scrooge, Simon Legree and Adolf Hitler.

And then suddenly....Surprise, Surprise, Surprise...that GOP leader is NO LONGER POPULAR!

And who was the popular Republican leader in 1965? And who carried 1968?

She probably would have lost by about 15 points or so.

“We may not like it but John Boehner is our leader!”

He may be your leader but he is not my leader as I am a conservative. I have gone Galt and have no leader except me under God’s protection.

With the exception of postal services (Clause 7 of Section 8 of Article I of the Constitution), where intrastate affairs / commerce are concerned, the Founding States never intended for the country to have a national leader. If patriots would read Section 8 of Article I, the federal government’s main responsibility is national defense.

Agree 100%, regarding the treatment of Palin.

It’s also one of the main components of why I lost all faith, trust and respect in the GOP after thirty years of solid support. It demonstrated such abject dishonor. The only ultimate positive in the GOP’s action is that finally gave proof that they no longer share my ideology nor my values, so the pretense is over.
