"My husband and I went to an all night party out in the country once. I was warned that the brownies were laced with MJ. After wandering around greeting people I went back by the snacks and saw my husband scarfing down brownies. Did you know those have MJ in them? No, I didnt. How many have you eaten? This is my fourth. Oh, my gosh. Fortunately we were able to spend the night on blankets enjoying the stars and a bonfire. The next day around noon he finally felt clear headed enough to drive the 15 miles home."
1) It's been many years since this happened to me. I already could have lost my job as a resultbut bad as that wasone of the party-givers was a 15-year-old girl who followed me home for the night!
2) A neighbor with the best of all possible Federal jobsin National Security (where he could see his office from his front door)just tested positive to cannibis , and lost that job!

Back in 1971 two girls I knew did this. They sprinkled some weed into the Christmas Day pasta sauce. At some point late in the meal they suddenly realized that the entire table (grandma included) were hysterical with laughing. They got kinda scared at that point but nothing worse happened.

That happened at my office. We were billing out a big project with very detailed packing lists. The typist was typing like mad and it was just gibberish coming out.

They will get 5 days for the marijuana, and 6 months for using bleached flour, white sugar and hydrogenated oil.

They drugged them, not poisoned. My college age children suffer from seizures. One could very well "poison" either of them with a pot brownie. Who knows what other medications pot would have negative interactions with?
I would pull my students out of CO and WA

You’re right, but you might get flamed here for that. I know some folks that would behave much better if they just got a good high than they do when they are intoxicated. The pranksters, of course should be punished, but a misdeameaner charge that won’t follow them around all their life is sufficient.

Unrelated issues. There are many legal substances that they could have done the same thing with causing people to become sick.

I see the lowest end of the college IQ scale - the sex studies majors - are adapting entertainment’s talent challenged comedy via leftist activism. I bet the attention whore laugh riots don’t think slipping drugs into other people’s food is so funny today.
