Some conservatives are saying that Republicans should let Obama own the economy. Essentially give him what he wants with regard to tax hike, spending, etc. so that Republicans could not be labelled obstructionist.
This is garbage! This strategy will mean that Obama will be able to put more in his Santa sack to give to his constituents. More will become dependents and more will love Obama.
The Republicans should not "give" Obama anything. They need to fight for lower tax rates and reduced spending. If it means we go over the cliff so be it. The House must be ruled by principled Republicans who agree that surrender is not an option.

Yes, we all have our measure of disdain for the ruling class and the idiot republicans, but how about bringing up NEW ideas and info vs. the same tired ‘I hate them’ mantra.

Anger is an awfully heavy burden to carry. However, when one has a whining little sissy like John Boehner poking him in the eye on a daily basis, anger results. I’m only human.
That wasn't the reason...at least not in anything I've seen.
It's so that when the SHTF, they can turn around, point, and scream "OBAMA'S FAULT!"
