Conservative group launches campaign to depose Boehner from speakership
The Daily Caller ^ | 12/05/2012 | Alexis Levinson

Posted on 12/05/2012 7:40:04 PM PST by CaptainKrunch

The backlash against Speaker of the House John Boehner’s removal of several conservative members of Congress from committees continued Wednesday, with one conservative group calling for Republicans to “depose” Boehner from his speakership.

American Majority Action (AMA) is launching a #FireBoehner campaign. If 16 members of the Republican Party abstain from voting for Boehner as speaker in January, he will be one vote shy of the 218 necessary to confirm his speakership.

“Speaker Boehner has been an abysmal failure as speaker, and his latest purge is the nail in the coffin for conservatives,” said Ned Ryun, president and CEO of AMA. “Boehner has never won a negation battle with the White House or Senate — and he’s been nothing short of an embarrassing spokesman for the conservative movement. It’s time for him to go.”

We gotta get rid of this chump.  Hopefully to be replaced by a real conservative.

Michelle Bachman.  Jim DeMint.  Joe Walsh. (Deffinitely should be a Tea Party caucus member - heh!)

Wikipedia: Tea Party Caucus membership (What was that bit about "There IS no Tea Party Caucus" we got from Boner a couple weeks ago?)

The caucus chair is Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. Of a total possible 435 Representatives, as of March 31, 2011, the committee has 61 members, all Republicans.[15]

Errrr.. yup.  Or at least create as much havoc for the RINO establishment as possible.  No inconvienience at all for conservatives to push the GOPe hacks right off the fence onto their @sses, whereby they can finally realize their true identity as tax and spend Democrats.

OK, I guess I'll buy that, but the real problem is that he's been a very successful spokeman for the liberals. He's done all kinds of stuff for them while screwing the country.

Bottom line: J-Bo must go.

No. That would be worse than suicide. The Speaker determines legislation that reaches the House floor for vote. The House is all we have to even attempt to stop Baraq.

To be appointed, the Speaker must receive an absolute majority of all votes cast. That means, of course, that they'd have to vote.

The Dems don't have enough votes to elect Pelousy, but if enough conservative House Republicans can be found to buck Boehner (and I'd use a different first letter in 'buck' but I'd like to keep my posting privileges), no absolute majority would be found.

That might -- mind you, I said MIGHT -- make him listen. The problem with elite Republicans is that they might pretend to listen, but they don't listen for long.

One of the first step is for someone to step up and being to challenge Boehner. If such a person doesn’t present themself then all of this is just academic. Who is this challenger that every single conservative in the House plus RINOs MUST rally around to oust Boehner? I like De Mint, Bachman, even Bozo the Clown. Don’t care. But no more of this conservatives splitting the vote crap.

Sigh....

Sure Bohner needs to go. Along with the majority of congress.

But folks, the GOP is top down a subsidiary of the Dems. Every secretary, aide and remaining infrastructure is Dem/lib. Replacing Bohner is only likely to result in another just like him since in truth, conservatives lack the bodies to effect ANY OTHER OUTCOME.

Prove that statement wrong. Anyone? Didn’t think so.

The solution is one partially forced on us. We simply have one viable option. We must depart the GOP wholesale and accept that one way or another, whether we do or not, the next 4-8 years is a writeoff. BECAUSE WE ARE POWERLESS TO STOP ANYTHING RIGHT NOW.

However...

By defanging/defunding/depopulating the GOP in a split, we simultaneously give us the power over them we lack currently UNDER them. THEY can then either work with us or the Dems openly. Because those are the only choices they will be given. Not ‘compromised’. GIVEN.

If the former, great. We will hold the cards. If the latter, America of Obama is the future regardless. People can say ‘feet to the fire’ all they want. Those are meaningless words designed to make their speakers feel better. They will never happen.

Accept this is a long term battle. And then begin fighting it. Ot quit NOW.

Awesome!

The GOP needs a merciless, smashmouth conservative Speaker, not a compromising wimp. Like Newt said, there’s a lot to be learned from Tip O’Neill, who was Speaker of the House when Reagan was President and the Senate was GOP. O’Neill fought, connived, lied, and cheated to get everything he could for his rats.

In fact, the House should elect Newt as its new Speaker.
(Yes, that would be perfectly legal and Constitutional.)

I know Newt eventually caved to the Sink Masturbator in ‘94, but I believe he learned from that experience and anyway, the Democrat had a monopoly on the selection, dissemination, and spin of the daily news back then and that is no longer the case.

Boener deposed conservative chairnman and threatened others saying he’s watching their votes. Then he won’t say what was wrong with their votes.

He negotiates in secret with Obama, won’t discuss offers with his own caucus before they’re made.

So he shows ruthless strength against conservatives, and nothing against obama.

He has to go!

splitting the vote crap

That is just it, ain't it.

We either buck up and realize we're going to go through hell whether we want to or not. The question is what are we going to do while we are there?

We bought into the insanity of voting for the R on the ticket, when the R is in reality a devil in the blue dress.

Splitting the vote is the power the Tea Party Class has, it is a power they can wield in-spite of Boehner. I'll say it again here...if you think Allen West was defeated by democrat vote fraud, think again. We are looking in the wrong place for the vote fraud.

In some ways I hate to say it, but it is time to organize to truly support the Tea Party as a viable political party. It is now ....or perhaps never again will we have the opportunity. This opportunity.

"We the People," either means something to us or it doesn't. "We the People," either hold the power to govern or we don't. None of what is in our future will be easy, none of it. We know the tactics of the liberal left, have we yet learned how to deal with it? We know the GOP won't touch it with a 100ft. pole! But, do we know the tactics of the Republican Party?

Split the d*mn vote, it is the only power we hold. The question is are we able to get the messaging out? Are we able to present a powerful recovery plan to the American People? Are we able to explain our country is going to go to hell, march through the gates, and we're either going to come out the otherside a better, stronger nation or we're not. The President's plan doesn't get us out and neither does the Republican plan.

WE message the truth about where we're going. The time for hoping for a change of direction is over. The time for squawking and talking in the 'halls of government' has failed. We have a few weeks to gird up the American people to face this. We either have the party that leads us out like a beacon on a shining hill or we burn.

The choice is ours and the sooner we realize we are going "there," no matter what we do, the sooner we can pull together the appropriate messaging .

The Tea Party's voice and power rests with, "We the People." It is our power and we either take control of it or our Nation dies in the fires of hell.

YESSSSSS!

Keep this list handy. Once the Tea Party gains power, many will jump on the bandwagon and claim to be supporters. This list shows us who is willing to stand up for our principles before it was popular or lucrative.

Good luck with that. Cry-baby has the GOP elite locked up.

Like I said on another thread, it's all over but the crying (pun intended). The GOP is simply a subsidiary of the Dems.

It's over folks. We are now European socialism and heading into Marxism. It was great while it lasted, but think your own economic survival now. Take care of your finances as you can, because the "gimmes" WILL be coming after any money they can find to support themselves. Think IRA'a and 401k's. It is the the next step to support the "gimmes". Personally, I have cashed out.

If I've learned one lesson over my 62 years, is that the more people want and get, the more they want. Bambi's re-election is proof.

Forget yelling and calling Boehner’s office.
