'Obamacare' saves consumers nearly $1.5 billion

Washington — Consumers saved nearly $1.5 billion in 2011 as a result of rules in President Obama´s healthcare law that limit what insurance companies can spend on expenses unrelated to medical care, including profit, a new analysis shows. Much of those savings — an estimated $1.1 billion — came in rebates to consumers required because insurers had exceeded the required limits. Damn! Obamacare has not even started yet and it has already saved huge amounts of money for the proles (Owrell 1984).

The media has really done it’s research this time around, and the most amazing thing is that there were no actual facts and figures to support the results.

I wonder how that happened. The part about finding fact and figures that don’t exist yet?

Could it be obtained from the Ministry of Propaganda?

LA Slimes pulling bogus numbers out of their a$$. Rates are going up higher than before Obamacare was a twinkle in Bami’s eye. $350 more for the two of us for 2013, on top of last years step increase.

How easy for the Slimes to spew unverifiable numbers muddled into our huge increase, and tell us,. yeah “but it would have been even higher” What is 100% verifiable is that Bambi promised lower premiums and the ability to keep our Dr. All verifiable lies.

Per capita, does 1.5 billion come to more than or less than five shekels? Per household it might come to 20. I ask in shekels, because I think soon the dollar will be worth less than those little pewter Israeli coins. Just keep printing ‘em.

From wiki:

The Commonwealth Fund’s current president is Karen Davis, a nationally recognized economist who has an extensive background in public policy and research. Before joining the Fund, she served as chairman of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, where she also held an appointment as professor of economics. She served as deputy assistant secretary for health policy in the Department of Health and Human Services from 1977–1980, under the Carter administration, and was the first woman to head a U.S. Public Health Service agency. Prior to her government career, Davis was a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.,
