He still isn’t doing very well. If those organizations get their funding cut, he WILL be homeless. Sounds like he is still surviving precariously close to homelessness.
A scam like this can’t help but backfire on him, though. He’s been outed and I wonder if “more honest” homeless will take kindly to him if he finds themselves among them.
Really, the concept of “financial security” doesn’t exist.
Even if you have enough in “savings” to last you the rest of your life, with enough “quantitative easing”, that can be worthless in a couple of years.
Our only security lies in God, ultimately. He’s the only thing that can’t be shaken.
