The Conversion business
Tea Party Nation ^ | 12/2/12 | Judson Phillips

How do we conservatives win in 2014?

It is a question that we must ask and answer now. We must have a plan now. In our current electoral system, we are in a perpetual campaign. This is especially true for Congress since they only have two-year terms.

Is there a plan we can use to win in 2014?

Yes there is. It is a simple, grass roots plan.

What is it?

A friend of mine likes to say, we are in the conversion business. This is so true.

I know of almost no one who moves from conservatism to liberalism. Yet, I have met many recovering liberals. What is it that brings liberals to conservatism? It is the message of freedom and liberty.

Our problem is getting that message out.

Here is the challenge:

Elect conservatives who do not have a price. Every time a “conservative” gets to DC, they sell out. All anyone in DC wants is to enrich themselves. There is not one of them who can get past that.

You can have all the plans you want, and analyze the demographics all you want but if we have no representation by a spineless Republican Party there’s no hope.

The mathematics of the situation are this; the exponential numbers of the welfare state are about to kick in, on steroids.

The Cloward-Piven/Alinskyites have succeeded in overwhelming the system. The last dominoes just haven't started falling yet.

We can't salvage what used to be America. We can only be prepared to deny the Cloward-Piven/Alinskyites control when the chaos begins.

We need to start talking about how to win the chaos after the collapse. The ruling-class oligarchy plans on killing as many peasants as possible, the way they always do. They will shoot a lot of them, and starve a lot more.

The only question is, how do we deny them control of the chaos they have engineered?

How do we make them the victims of their own chaos?

My guess is, we don't. The vast majority of House seats are jerrymandered, so we'll likely keep the House, but I'm not optimistic about the Senate.

Exactly. Sooner or later this foolishness will collapse in on itself. The question then will be, who will be left to pick up the pieces and in what manner and form will they reset?

It is a lot darker and deeper than that. We live in the ultimate nanny state welfare nation. The people voted for it We the people created this mess, the politicians are a symptom of the disease. We are the disease, not us conservatives in the minority, but the majority moocher class. Our best bet is to work to bring the nation back to a European welfare state as a first step. What I mean is that in Europe they actually expect the moocher class to pay taxes for all the freebies, we in the USofA just give it away. Until the bottom 50% actually starts paying something, anything for their EBTs, than we will get nowhere. As the song says, everything’s free in America.

See Cuba. The Leftists will gladly ‘sacrifice’ to ‘punish’ their enemy (us). They will live in squalor just to seek ‘revenge’ upon their Capitalist foe!
This is an effective Branding campaign by the Collectivists. There is an immediate emotional response (like Pavlov’s dogs) to any Conservative ideology.

Adopt the libertarian stance in all matters.

"If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals–if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is. Now, I can’t say that I will agree with all the things that the present group who call themselves Libertarians in the sense of a party say, because I think that like in any political movement there are shades, and there are libertarians who are almost over at the point of wanting no government at all or anarchy. I believe there are legitimate government functions. There is a legitimate need in an orderly society for some government to maintain freedom or we will have tyranny by individuals. The strongest man on the block will run the neighborhood. We have government to insure that we don’t each one of us have to carry a club to defend ourselves. But again, I stand on my statement that I think that libertarianism and conservatism are travelling the same path." - Ronald Reagan, 1975

I’m pushing Dennis Prager every chance I get on everyone I know. He is a very wise man and his tone is easier on the ears of the tender Liberals. Dennis is a very persuasive Conservative.
