After Katrina the chocolate city mayor declared martial law and banned private ownership of guns. Seriously.
When the you know what hits the fan food, gas, generators, and guns will be declared property of the State.

I live in a remote area... I qualify as lower, lower class... I have a generator... as well as many of my poor neighbors... That jack donkey making a statement that only wealthy have generators... is BS!
I wish I’d hooked the TV up to a pedal powered generator during the time my kids were attending Elementary and High Schools. It’d be good for the kids to well know what it takes to generate 100W.

It won't happen in Louisiana next time....nor in a number of other states who observed the anti-gun actions during Katrina, and passed laws and/or state constitutional amendments specifically forbidding any such activity (at least for guns......and if they can't get the guns, they can't get the generators, either).

No need to redistribute generators where I am; everybody already has one. No one can steal them either, we’re all heavily armed.
