The GOP Dream Act is a Nightmare
The American Thinker ^ | November 25, 2012 | Charles Martel

"The proposed path to citizenship would begin in college, which is where young people go to stop thinking....Conservatives don't do well among college students, or among minorities. So the open borders Republicans' answer is to incentivize the creation of a larger pool of minority college students through an amnesty pipeline. This approach is shockingly mindless."

Well, the mindless should be re-minded.

Money talks and bs walks. The GOP Reps and Senators have been bought off. And of course the very top of the organization has more money than they know what to do with and, as often as not, to cover all their bases, they’re in bed with the enemy. Its all about the money.

So why worry debating it then. Just chew your leg off.

E-Verify is the law of the land but a miniscule number of companies use E-Verify. How about letting businesses know if they want your business they have to use E-Verify?

Boston Market is the only business I have ever seen with an E-Verify notice in their window. How about showing our appreciation?

The GOP cannot save this country only WE THE PEOPLE can.

Scary is that too many here on FR and in GOP Media call Amnesty Liberals like Marco Rubio a “Conservative”. He is a La Raza Anti-American

And, people do not realize how much Big Government Socialism it will take to fund DREAM Act Amnesty. Giving Illegal Aliens in-state college tuition is going to be paid by the taxpayers...many who cannot afford to send their children to college due to spiraling tuition costs

Illegal Alien Amnesty, in whatever form they call it, is Anti-American Bigotry. If the GOP does not get rid of their Fetish for Illegals and Hispanics, they can kiss conservatives goodbye

Granting amnesty is a willful and deliberate act of high treason.

Are you saying this about Reagan? I mean he was tricked by the Democrats but still. I think your wording is too strong.

Just a note...Boston Market took ham off their menu’s here in Tampa casue it was offensive to the muslims. Their ham was the only reason I went for lunch but that’s just me.

If they push this and cave on taxes as well, that’s the end of the GOP

You can bet they will cave on any (and all) bills the communists introduce. It’s a trend that started immediately after Regan left office and continues today.

I gave up on the Republicans many years ago and have voted as an independent true conservative ever since.

We need educated, responsible and informed voters...not Republican lemmings....to save our country (if that’s possible now).

With each election cycle with no actual choices to be made due to our two party system, it’s like cutting one of your toes off with a pair of scissors each election cycle. Well, we have finally cut 10 toes off and there is no end in sight for anyone (or party) to keep us from starting on our fingers.

Only a fool would vote for someone (or a party) and then whine and complain about them after they screw you each and every time....only to repeat it the next time.

Republicans have been threatening to commit hari-kari for a generation now; it looks like with McC, Boehner, and Jebbie Bush they are finally doing so.

I think arguing the point on Reagan has no purpose as the circumstances of the nation could hardly be more different.

Adding “at this point in time” solves the question, to my satisfaction.

But, beyond that, I don’t believe my statement can be logically disputed.

And frankly, the state of the country is such that - right or wrong - I am no longer willing to give an inch on anything I disagree with. I still examine my beliefs but compromise is not welcome at a table where everything I’ve come to love and appreciate about where I live is being destroyed

I agree. Here in LA, everything possible is given to them. Our high taxes show it. I don’t see why we have to feed another country, and look after their poor. Jerry Brown sets a poor example of governor.
