A San Francisco couple is waiting to find out if the U.S. Supreme Court will take their case challenging the 1996 law that prohibits the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages.

Karen Golinski and Amy Cunninghis got married during the brief window in 2008 when gay and lesbian couples could tie the knot in California. Golinski immediately tried to add her wife to her employer-sponsored health care plan. But because she is married to another woman and works for the U.S. government, her otherwise routine request was denied...

There is no such thing as gay marriage. You can't change the definition to fit the circumstance.

And by the way....a fetus is a living human being.

So all this talk about how homosexuals just want to get married because they love one another just like a normal man and woman is bunk. What it really comes down do is “Benifits”. Typical parasite leaches. It’s always about what can goverment do for me.

It's just a matter of time. Equal protection jurisprudence is such that we will have gay marriage (via the SCOTUS), sooner or later. If nothing else changes, it is only a question of precisely when.

The only way to prevent that from happening is a Federal Constitutional amendment prohibiting same sex marriage and excepting it from the equal protection clause. Individual state statutes, state constitutional provisions, or even federal statutes (such as DOMA) will all fall in time, absent a Federal Constitutional amendment.

Since no one is willing to get underway with such a constitutional amendment, sit back and enjoy, cause here it comes!

Is this pink journalista for AssPress trying to make the case for polygamy?

Or the expansion of divorce/remarriage laws or WHUT?!!!

Maybe now, maybe not, but Obama will likely get to name 2 more justices before his reign of destruction has ended, then we’re in big trouble.

Once again the will of the people means nothing. Our morality will be dictated to us by black robes and we have NO way to change it.

Tell me again why secession is a bad idea?

Doubtless, CJ Roberts will go through more perverted twists and turns to determine that DOMA equates to a discriminatory “tax” directed at gays and lesbians and the law will be struck down.

Remember, with zero, the rule of law is dead and the Constitution has been shredded. He will do as Morsi has done to make himself Supreme Ruler ewhose word IS the law and he has his crooked friend, Eric Holder, in DOJ to back him up.

And, because Americans have become so complacent and lost their passion for liberty and freedom, we won’t care what zero and the government do as lond as we don’t miss the next episode of American Idol.

Hello new pop star, goodbye, America!

The will of the people be dammed and so will this nation.

I can’t believe that the will of the people voted for gay marriage in Maryland, Washington, and Colorado....very surprising. I hope the will of the people don’t become and epidemic.

I’ve got a $100 that says that is NOT her parents name.

I would also bet that Fluke is NOT her parents name either.

Let’s hope that the current SCOTUS looks at the earlier courts decision against polygamy in the 1800s. Those courts pretty much decided marriage was defined as one man/one woman.
