(excerpt)

Iowa's top elections administrator is vowing to continue to ferret out fraud and to push lawmakers for a voter ID law.

Secretary of State Matt Schultz says the voter fraud cases resulting in arrests so far are only the beginning.

(excerpt) Schultz says it's likely more arrests will come as the Iowa Criminal Investigation Division works through a list of more than 1,200 people he believes registered to vote without citizenship.

If you take all the precincts where Romney got zero or less than 4% of the votes and set them to his usual black percentage (about 4%) then that would be a gain of two thousand or less in the worst cases (Cleveland, Philly). Basically the math is 100 or so precincts (divisions in Philly) times about 400 voters per precinct times 4% or 1600 max. Here's the data for Cuyahoga: http://boe.cuyahogacounty.us/pdf_boe/en-US/ElectionResults2012/11062012UnofficialResultsbyPrecinct.HTM I added up the precincts with less than 4% Romney and it is about 100.

I would also assume that Romney would get less than a token 4% from the inner city blacks.

But I thought voter fraud didn’t exist? At least that’s what the Democrat talking heads are always telling us.

Democrats use voter fraud every election, the sad thing is, most “News” stations like NBC beg to differ...

Throw the frickin’ book at these people. Couple of years in prison should set a good example.

Sorry, I know it’s become politically incorrect to say there is voter fraud, but if you take 15,000 folks, 100% of whom intend to vote for Obama, there is sure to be a number of folks who err and unintentionally vote for Romney. Combine that with the likely (and I’m being generous here) average IQ in those precincts of 85, then the perfect 100% Obama vote is pure BS. Sorry, but there IS voter fraud and it is rampant.

We need FIRM voter ID laws. We need laws to make vote fraud a felony. And, ideally, everyone who votes should be required to leave behind on the voter sign-in registration sheet a single fingerprint next to the name of the person they claim to be. That would enable more sure convictions and, simply because of that, would eliminate MANY, MANY cases of “voter impersonation” fraud—the type of vote fraud I believe to constitute the bulk of vote fraud.

Correct, but you are way low in the number of folks. It is more like 300,000 folks (out of 700k blacks) who live in all-black divisions and intend to vote for Obama. Obviously a lot of them can and did make mistakes, that's why there were many divisions with a small number of votes for Romney (mistakes or black renegades) but 56 with zero for Romney. But out of hundreds of divisions trying for a perfect Obama score, it is not inconceivable that 56 of them were able to do it. I also believe that there has to be some sort of help to avoid mistakes, so let's say an old black lady walks into her polling place, she might find she gets some help, whereas a young black male with the right creds would not.

In short there were 100's of divisions (with about 300 to 400 voters in each) trying for the perfect Obama score but only a small percentage (perhaps 10% or 20%) made it.

Voter fraud of any kind, including casting multiple ballots, giving a false identification or voting with someone else’s name, should be cause for a 5 year term in a federal penitentiary.

I completely agree. I suppose that the IA AG will have to prosecute under IA law, since I’m sure that the Just-us Department would simply drop the cases.

This, of course, will go nowhere. If they were to arrest and incarcerate everyone who committed voter fraud in this election, they’d have to lock up half the Blacks and Hispanics in America.

Clearly, it’s not a practical possibility.

This is the IA Secretary of State, a Republican.
The IA A.G. is a Democrat.

Yes, I know, but at least the IA AG is likely to listen to the SoS. Holder would most certainly not.

Just ran accross a very interesting post made by Citizen WElls for the 2008 election. I think it still has merit and needs to be reviewed.
I don’t think anything has changed for 2012 elections. Again, keep up your posts and thx.

through a list of more than 1,200 people he believes registered to vote without citizenship.

Iowa Presidential Election Results:

Obama: 816,429

Romney: 727,928

Difference: 88,501.

So even if there are 1200 illegals who illegally voted, and every one voted for Obama, and we rejected those votes, Romney wouldn't come close to winning Iowa.

This is a great example of the real fraud that happens in elections, that we need to ferret out.

Also, contrary to the comments in this thread attacking the GOP for not looking at fraud, Matt Shultz is a republican, who is diligently and aggressively going after vote fraud in Iowa.

It just isn't why Obama won the election.

This is the best news I’ve heard in months. Somebody with power and a pair is doing something to safeguard our sovereignty. Wow.

Yep. No fingerprint though. Dip your thumb in ink once your ID has been checked, verifying that you are a citizen and registered to vote in that precinct and that precinct only. Voter fraud should be a mandatory 5 yr Fed sentence.

We used to hang varmints for stealing horses.
