Seems that corrupt Chicago politics and equally corrupt Massachusetts politics is driving this insanity. What a marriage.

I think people are campaigned out. I think the governor is very popular and most voters would be happy to support his choice until the next general election, Johnston added.”

Of course they want to change the rules, again, to suit their needs. This place is so messed up. I have many friends who grew up here and have no idea of how things work in other states. Sure there are corrupt politicians elsewhere (most are, right?) but people have been so indoctrinated here it truly is scary. Book smart but otherwise completely ignorant.
