I’m thinking absentee and early voting killed Romney. It was made to order for the Democrat fraud machine.
That is true about absentee and early voting, but, I would also throw in the “get out the vote” effort that was unmatched by the Romney team.
Obama and the democrats wanted to get the early voters to the polls before they could change their minds after the debates, and, of course, they put out a good effort to get those people to vote early.
What I fail to see in any of the post-mortem debates/discussions, is any real good suggestions for the future campaigns, and for the selection of good candidates who will show up to fight dirty when needed, and that can match that liberals’ campaign style. Being the “nice party” or the “nice candidate”, isn’t going to win us any battles when the enemy comes out with their dirty weapons.
It’s a tired cliche, but, let’s stop being “Mr Nice Guy”. We have the ideas and the logic behind our intentions, but, we also need to make sure that, dirty tricks can’t continue winning and we just continue complaining about the liberal bias in the media. We need new ideas, and I don’t see anyone proposing any. The only ideas I’ve seen, are losers, like, we need to be more like them and be more flexible in our positions. That would just turn us into a division of the democratic party, so, why even try?
I have to say to blame “fraud” for losing the election is getting tiresome. To think that is why we lost is completely living in delusion. The same delusion that gave us un-skewed polls. We have to sell our message positively. The hate and alienation of large groups is what has hurt us. Polling shows the biggest drag was the 47% speech yet that is also being promoted as true. The message has to be positive and inclusive.
