Yep. Mary Crosby played his sister-in-law and shooter Kristin Shepard.

Damn, what a shame. He was one of those actors that breathed actual life into his character. And I really like that Linda Gray and others from “Dallas” have stayed together as such a close groups of friends after the original series ended.

I guess John Ross is really on his own, now....

RIP JR, for real.

Gorgeous enough that The Voice even had his hook(s) into her for a very, very ‘Brief Episode’ back in the early ‘70’s.

One of the great character actors of all time. Played JR to the hilt, no one could’ve done it better.

You were truly one of a kind; my entire family enjoyed your presence on tv.

Farewell Mr. Hagman. And we thank you.

I recall the first time I watched Dallas (hadn’t much interest at that point) and wondered “where have I seen that guy before”? Not sure how long it took me to remember but wow, what a revelation, the roles were so different.

He got the good TV roles.

I Dream of Jeannie and Dallas.

Surprised to learn he was 81.

Time flies.

RIP

He was absolutely still a great villan in the new Dallas. Wonder what is in store for that now that he is gone? He made both Dallas shows in my opinion. I love to hear that Dallas Music too.

“the term 420 originated at San Rafael High School, in 1971, among a group of about a dozen pot-smoking wiseacres who called themselves the Waldos, who are now pushing 50. The term was shorthand for the time of day the group would meet, at the campus statue of Louis Pasteur, to smoke pot. Intent on developing their own discreet language, they made 420 code for a time to get high, and its use spread among members of an entire generation.”

Haven’t watched the new program. Was hoping that the archvillainess Katherine Wentworth character(played by beautiful conservative, pro-Tea Party actress Morgan Brittany) would return to battle J.R. and I might tune in but I can’t picture “Dallas” without Hagman.

"I recall the first time I watched Dallas (hadn’t much interest at that point) and wondered “where have I seen that guy before”?"

That's funny....because when Lovejoy Mysteries started airing on A&E back in the 90's, I wondered where I'd seen that Ian McShane guy before, and of course, the answer was, "Dallas."
