I mean no disrespect at all but oddly enough I just woke from an enjoyable dream where I was meeting Barbra Eden. Turning on the tablet by my bed this was the first thing I saw.

RIP Mr Hagman and thanks for the memories.

That would be an enjoyable dream.

In honor of both her and the passing of Mr. Hagman-

Yeh, they may wind up canceling the New series, but I hope not, cause I would like them to at least wrap up the current plot.

I don’t understand how he could say that GWB was not well educated; when he had an MBA at Harvard Business School, went to Yale, was in the Texas National Guard (Air Nat. Guard?), learned to fly combat jets, etc...! He was Tex. Governor for 6 years after winning election and re-election, then President for 8 years! Sheesh! Then, leading the country toward Fascism- Fascists were leftists; George W. Bush was not a leftist! I wonder what he thought of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama? Now those two were really leftists!

I remember when Bill Clinton came on the scene in the early '90s. My dad said "He looks like Larry Hagman".

Turns out he had JR's morals, too! ;)

RIP Mr. Hagman - My favorite Hagman roll was as the translator in FAIL SAFE working opposite Henry Fonda. Back when movies were great.

Jeannie, we're the only two left.

I recall reading that Bill Daley didn't get along very well with Larry Hagman. This was before Barbara Eden's autobiography came out (which I kinda don't want to read; afraid of damaging the perfect image of her that lingers in my mind). I can't recall the specifics, but it seemed to be more than the usual Hollywood resentment of the star by the second banana.

‘_________and unprofessional activities.’

I have not read anything about Hagman, but I do remember something, and surprised no one has mentioned his ridiculous policy of not speaking one day a week, was it?
Can’t imagine not having occasional trouble because of that.

He was fortunate to have had Broadway musical star, Mary Martin, for his mother.

He was always Major Tony Nelson to me. Half the fun of watching Dallas was seeing his corrupt power mad JR character and recalling the affable and frustrated Major Nelson.

He must have done something right. Most actors don't have one big hit and he had two of them. He disappeared for a lot of years so it was fun to see him go from Tony Nelsons impecable integrity to JRs power hungry rationalizations. JR was a great character and Dallas was a great show the first couple of years.

Good bye Major Nelson. Thanks for the fine entertainment.

When I was in eighth grade my summer job was
Mowing a cemetery in weatherford Texas.

All the graves had curbs around the lots so push mowing was the only option, which took so long that by the time you mowed them all the others had grown back up.
One day a lemo pulls in and out gets a handsome guy who goes to a grave and looks around then comes to me, taps me on the shoulder and asks me to mow and weedeat his mothers plot real fast. I push the mower over to the grave and mow Mary Martins plot real fast. Had no idea who she was.

He tried to give me 20 and I declined and went back to work. At break my supervisor told me who he was and that he came often.

I do know he had some very odd habits. Apparently he never spoke on Saturdays.

Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy were also present when he passed away. That says a lot there.

Patrick Duffy was his closest friend.
